Stuck In The Maze

Chapter 1

Avni 's POV:

"Tringg Tringg"
Arrrghh !!! Which donkey wants me to get up from my dreamworld.
With the sleepy eyes I looked at the caller id
It was Maahi,my only best friend .
Why she is hell bent to destroy my beauty sleep?What this monkey wants from me at this time!!

"Hmmmm....say!!"

"Avni.. it is already 10 30 .
You lazy pig ,get off your ass from the bed.Ill pick you up in 30 min. You better get ready .Don't you dare sleep again. I have something very important to tell you ."she screamed over the phone .

I got up lazily from the bed and dragged myself into the bathroom to freshen up and have a quick shower. I came out of bathroom with the towel wrapped around my body.
I walked towards the closet
and started thinking what to wear !!!

Finally i decided to wear ripped dark blue denim and white crop top along with the jacket .Today I chose a white sneakers over my favourite heels .I applied my only makeup which is an eyeliner and i decided to leave my thick long wavy hair.

I heard a knock on my door .
My maid informed me that Maahi is waiting for me in the lounge.
I grabbed my wallet and my mobile and ran downstairs to the lounge. i reached only to hear the loud horn of the car.
"Mom I'm going with Maahi " i shouted loudly, and rushed outside.

"You look very hot babe!! "She said when i settle down comfortably in her black audi .
"Not as much hot as you " i teased her and she winked at me . I started humming to one of my favourite song "closer"which was playing loudly in the car.

"Where are we going ?? I asked her. She replied "Hmmm!!!!we are going to our usual hangout place."
" I'm starving. Last time i saw the food was yesterday afternoon " i pouted.
"I know what happened yesterday ,
I still can't believe that you get scared for that thunder and lightening like a 5 year kid " she said .
"It scares the shit out of me . I really don't know how to get over this phobia "i sighed.

"Well then, which is that important matter you were supposed to tell me ??"i asked her.

"Have some patience to hear that exciting matter babe. Let's get in and order something to eat and then ill let you know."
She said while parking the car infront of a rooftop cafe.
I quickly got down from the car and entered the cafe.
I waved at waiter and said the Usual
He smiled at us.
We sat in our usual corner table.

"Only a week left for our college to end. I can't belive it .It was like yesterday we joined this MBA. "she said.
"Yeah....ill miss this college ,projects and those plastic barbies" i replied laughingly.
"Aren't you going to miss me ?" She asked dramatically.
I laughed seeing her drama.
"Such a dramaqueen . Why don't you join flim industry after this ? You actually can do it  better rather than this MBA "i teased.
" yeah of course i would have done it .If my daddy was a great business magnet like yours" she replied sarcastically.
"So when are you joining our company?. Did you send your resume to my dad ?" I asked
"No!! not yet " she said sadly.
"What!!??? Why ?? What's wrong Maahi?? You know we planned many things that we will be together working in my daddy's company." I almost screemed shockingly.

" Heyy angry tigress !! I know we planned many of such things. But listen to me carefully. I wanted to talk to you  about this !!so only i made you to get up from your dreamworld. "She replied calmly and continued "Actually my parents called me last night and they arranged my wedding with their friend's son with whom i had a crush on secretly . So my wedding will be in next 2 weeks." And she started blushing.
"What ?!! Are you kidding me Maahi ??! Is this some kind of your pranks?!! I can't believe this !! That too within 2 weeks ?!! I know your parents are forcing you to get married. But please dont get married because of that." Shockingly replied to her.

"Heyy calm down!! Its not what you are thinking. They aren't forcing me. It is just that if i dont get married within two weeks . I can't marry until 5 years, you know very well about my parents right .They believe in that horoscope and stuffs. However i have to get married one or the other day. Why not now with the person whom I'm dreaming to get married from past years " she said blushingly.

I was happy for her because she is getting married to the person whom she loved secretly.On the other hand i was a bit sad that we won't be working and hanging out together.

" I'm so happy for you babe. By the way who is that unlucky guy who has to bear your tantrums for the rest of his life. Poor guy !!I'm worried about his life " i said jokingly.
She started laughing and replied " He is the one who stole my heart. You will know when you come to my wedding in London. This is the only way to make you come to my house in London. You better convince your possessive dad to allow you to come to London with me for a month.

"Heyy this is not fair. You know my dad right . He loves me so much that he wants me right infront of his eyes everytime, and here your asking me to come to London with you for a month . This is mission impossible.!!!" I sighed.
"No way !! If your not coming with me I'm not getting married itself. Come on dear!! You are the only friend i have. If you want ill try to speak to your dad and convince him." She pleaded.
"Okay okay ill try to convince him.Now chill , dont make that sad monkey face" i said
The waiter interpreted our conversation by bringing pancakes and waffles with chocolate dipping sauce ,Espresso  and a steaming black coffee for Maahi. My stomach started growling.
I started digging and filled my mouth full of pancakes.
Suddenly Maahi gasped loudly and she said " Oh my god !!! Look at that hot chicken!!!! I'm going to ditch my fiance and try my luck with him .Oh my god !! Oh !! My God he is coming this way !!".
I was curious to see that person whom Maahi was describing.
I heard the footsteps coming near and i raised my head from the plate and saw the adjacent table and my heart skipped a beat.

Oh my god!!! He is mouth watering than my favourite chocolate cake !!! How can a person be so handsome.??
He wore a black formal pant and white shirt with folded sleeves which shows his veins and that shirt fits into his body tightly showing off his perfectly built abs.
Even Greek gods will fall at his feet. He has perfect jaw line with stubble on his perfect face with a ruffled hair.
That beautiful blue eyes in which any one can get lost into. And that luscious lips god!!! i wish i could kiss them right now . What's wrong !!? Why I'm behaving like a love sick puppy ?? Avni control your naughtly thoughts.

I was shamelessly checking him out and he caught me drooling at him.
Suddenly he winked at me.

And i realized that I'm in a deep trouble.!!!!
