I guess from the very beginning huh?
Okay. My name is Ico and I'm 12 years old. I grew up in a small village where everyone despised me except my parents. I been mocked, ridiculed and avoided at all cost because I carry the curse.
A curse that is been around for centuries.
Freak!
Devil!
Go away!
When will you disappear!?
That's what I frequently hear when I walk around the village.They quickly run away in fear whenever I'm around.When there's a plauge or a calamity that befalls on the village, all eyes quickly fall on me as they blame me for the misfortune. Sometimes they beat me senseless just because of that. I tried to run away but the guards always capture me and forced me to return to the village. If I'm that cursed why won't they just let me go?
"Soon my child." They say. "Soon when your 12."
Since then, I'm been alone for all my life. No one dared to talk to me or even touch me. Sometimes I sit under the shade of a tree and watch other children play..
For once.....
I wish I was like them..
But I guess it will never happen.....
For today is my birthday......
The day that I will go away just like the others before me did.
And its just because I got........
