I woke up with a jolt from my dream.. As I stand up, I'm still in the large hall but now I'm free.
Okay. So I got this most messed up dream. I was in some sort of a room with a spiral staircase but the weirdest thing is that there's an iron cage suspended in the ceiling, hanging around in the middle of the room. Inside the cage is a shadow or a black glob of something rising from the bottom of the cage. But before I can react, something grab me from behind as it drags me into darkness.
It was only a dream but it felt so real. Even those hands that tried to grab me was so cold and lifeless.
But there's no point arguing now at dream that isn't real. I finally escape my destiny to die and I should not let it go to waste. I must escape this castle and I will live.
I started to walk slowly to the tower that the masked men used to get down here but the statues blocked the pathway and no how matter hard I tried, the statues won't move. Maybe without that weird sword it won't just open. I guess I need to take another path out of here.
Walking back, I spotted another door with a lever next to it just a few meters away across the hall. Running towards it, I pulled the rusty lever as the door slide open. Sensing a chance to escape this place, I stepped inside.
I found myself again inside of a tall tower with a spiral staircase leading up. Somehow, it resembles my dream that I just have. I started to climb up as found myself getting higher and higher. As I reach the top, I saw an iron caged . The very same one from my dream! Now how did that happen?
I expect to find the shadow or the black glob inside the cage but instead a girl sat in that cage. She was thin and has a pale skin or its just really white. Her hair is kinda brown and she wore nothing but a simple white dress. She was crouched over, hugging her knees with her head resting on her knees. She was so delicate-looking like she was a porcelain doll of some sort.
"Hello?" I called out to her. "Are you okay?"
She didn't move at all. Not even a single muscle.
"Uhm...Hold on..I'll get you out of there,okay?"
Again,she didn't respond.
I follow the chain with my eyes as I found a lever identical to one that I found earlier. It was just on the other side of the broken stairwell. Jumping over, I barely made it across as I gabbed on a ledge. Pulling myself up, I walk towards the lever as pull it down. The cage slowly dropped down as I quickly went down on the spiral staircase. I felt a bit dizzy as I trailed my hand across the wall as to serve as my guide downwards.
I finally I reached the bottom as I saw the cage hit the ground causing the girl to be tossed forward. I approached her as she stands up.
"Are....you okay?" I asked
"Istala con uyute?"
"What?"
"Unne.?
"You can't understand what I'm saying huh?"
She just looked at me with her eyes.
Great. I'm stuck with a girl who can't understand my language.
I started to think something as she look at me curiously. How can I handle these kind of situations?
Then I got an idea.
I point my finger to myself as said my name.
"Ico." I said to her
She look at my finger for a bit until she finally gets it. Then she gestured a hand weakly to herself as she muttered something.
"Yorda." She replied
I smiled at her as she tried to copy my expression.
"I'll get you of here okay?" I said as I offer my hand
She look at my hand as she hesitated for a bit.
But then she hold my hand. She look at me with reassurance in her eyes.
"Don't worry, I'll get us out of here."
