Chapter Ten: The Power Of A Hybrid

By next morning Dana was the first one to wake up early. She wrote down the apartment number and where to find the building. Then waited for star and angel to get up. Then (ding dong). Dana looked throught the door hole. It was drake with some food. Well at least she didn't have to leave the room to get breakfast for everyone. Angel openedn her eyes when she smelled the food. Then star. And just as fast as they opened their eyes they were sitting at the table all ready to eat.

"Oh well then you guys are up early and fast.?"

"We smelled food. So yeah."

"Well then okay."

Drake set down the food and they just grabbed what they wanted. After they got done dana looked at her note then walked to the door.

"Okay we should get going to that club so we can find dante. Okay."

"Okay."

They looked at her then grabbed their stuff and waited for her to go. Dana smiled trying to hide the pain of wondering if her brother would be happy or mad to see her. She didn't know if she would greet her with opened arms. Or a door slamming in her face. She couldn't wait to find him. Yet she was also scared to find him. But deep inside her heart she knew he was still her brother so she had to do this. It was her brother after all. Plus her mother misses him so bringing him home means moms good side. Before dana left. Her mother told her she would try and talk to their father to see if he could give dante his memories back. To see there was no reason to have taken them away. Dana hoped that her dad had changed his mind and gave him back his memories.

"Okay lets go cause i know there are probably more people at that club. So we need to get going. So c'mon."

"Alright lets go."

Drake left the room first. Since he had to start work soon.

"Welll see you guys later then okay>

"Okay."

They smiled at him and followed behind him. And they walked out the lobby doors. Outside it was stormy out. It wasn't rainning it was just cloudy with thunder and ligthing. And not a lot of people were out. And it looked like the club was still going.

"Okay you guys ready for this. Just to warn you right now. If anything tries adn fights us. Let me do it i have the weapons for it."

"Oh hell no you are letting us help you too."

"Yeah we are in this together."

"Huuu okay fine. Here i will give you each a weapon."

Dana gave them each a blade of her say. Angel looked at it. She felt liek she had feld one of those blades before. Then it vanished or changed into so,ething else that people couldn't tell it was a weapon.

"Okay now that is done can we please do this so we can find him."

"Dana what is the real reason you wan to find him so badly?"

"Hmmm well it's because of my mom she misses him so i told her i would bring him home. Other then keep you two safe. So yeah."

"Well why do you have to bring him home what if he doesn't want to i mean maybe he wants to be free and leave life alone go his own way. You know what i mean dana."

"Yeah i do but what about my mom.?"

"Well i don't know what to tell you there."

"Well we are going to have to see when we find him then."

"Okay."

They looked at her then walked inside. They looked around but could only see people dancing. Angel tried to not get trapped into the music. Dana and star kept their eyes on her to make sure she didn't start dancing. They walked around the club and started to attract unwanted attention.
