Chapter 19 - 'What!?' - Diana

Diana's POV 

Wow! That was the best night I've ever had. Well, seriously, who wouldn't want a sweet moment with a loved one, right? Haha, but anyway, it's fully awesome!

Well then, since I still have 5 days before school holiday ends, I better check on my undone homework inside my backpack. Well, I've done everything, except...
"Maths!? I haven't completed this yet?" I said to myself aloud. Luckily, my parents were not in the room for now.

Well, it looks like I had to go and see Rap Monster oppa at Room 241, so I put on my Converse shoes and my leather jacket, took out the hotel room's card key from its power socket, and went to Room 241,

~inside Room 241~

Rap Monster oppa was teaching me about some calculations on Maths, while Jin oppa and Suga oppa were chatting about something. Well, I don't want to take it seriously this time, I really had to focus on my Maths works. Plus, 10GA will be coming soon in October.

A few moments later, Rap Monster oppa explained, "So, this is how you get the answer. You think that the calculations are so hard, but it's actually easy for you to do it. Try it yourself, okay?"

I nodded. Finally, I could really finish this one up.

Suddenly, there's a knocking sound on the door from outside. "Come in!" I yelled. I decided to find out who knocked the door earlier. "Oh!" I said. It was Jungkook oppa all along.

"Hi, hyung. Sorry to disturb you. I just wanted to hand in these final documents to you from manager hyung," he said. Suddenly, he looked at me and said, "Diana? What are you doing here?"

Wow! I guess he didn't know why I was here, so I replied, "I just asked Rap Monster oppa to help me with my Maths work."

Jungkook oppa nodded, then suddenly, he said, "Diana, can you come with me to Wangsa Park after you're done with your Maths work? I have something to tell you."

I was vexed, then I said, "Why can't you just tell me here? Besides, you do have a tight schedule." I had no idea, what did he want to say to me.

So I asked Rap Monster oppa's permission to leave, "Namjoon oppa, thank you so much for teaching me. May I go, please?" He nodded, so I went out of Room 241 to get my roller-blades before leaving to Wangsa Park.

~at Wangsa Park~

After a long skate along the park, Jungkook oppa and I sat under a big tree to rest. That reminded me, what was the thing that he wanted to tell me?

So I asked, "So, Oppa. What's the thing you wanted to tell me?"

Jungkook oppa suddenly took a deep breath before saying it. Perhaps he's nervous to say it in front of me, but he had to do it.

"Okay, Diana. If I say this, please don't get too surprised," he said. Huh, what was he trying to say to me? It must be serious.

So he continued his words, "Actually, tomorrow will be my last day here in Malaysia with the BTS. We have to fly back to Korea."

His words shocked my ears out. "What!? Are you leaving? But...I can't believe it. Time flies so fast, and it's like you just arrived here since yesterday. Oh my God..." I started to feel so sad about the news, but I had to accept this reality no matter what.

Then, something reminded me, "Okay, Oppa. But actually, I will be returning home tomorrow as well. Although we will be separating from each other, we still get to see each other again, right?"

Jungkook's POV

I was lost for words. Wow, I couldn't believe my ears! I never knew that Diana still loved me like in the previous years. Plus, she didn't want to get separated from me. How guilty I am.

Suddenly, an idea came into my mind, so I voiced out, "Diana, would you like to sleepover at Room 238 for one last time tonight. I know that you want to spend a little more time with me and Jimin hyung. Am I right?"

Then, she gave me a shocking expression and said, "Are you kidding me? Of course, I'd love to sleep over in your room tonight. Thank you, Oppa. I love you!"

She came closer to me and hugged. In my heart, I could feel that tears were about to come out, but I decided to conceal it and hold on to my feelings.

Diana's POV

~at Room 238~

I sat on Jungkook oppa and Jimin oppa's bed while finishing up a letter for Jungkook oppa. Luckily, he's now in the bathroom, washing himself up. While I was finishing up the letter, Jimin oppa asked, "Is that for Jungkook?"

I nodded, then he continued, "You know, Diana. Since I'll be leaving Malaysia with the BTS tomorrow, I will sure be missing you and Kia."
I was surprised to hear what Jimin oppa had said to me. It looks like, Jimin oppa felt like he's having a girlfriend now. How sweet!

So, I asked, "Jimin oppa, do you miss Kia, the British girl who liked you so much since she first met you? I bet you do. Plus, you kinda like her."
Jimin oppa froze in shame all of a sudden, then he said, "Do I like her? Oh, I don't know. Maybe I do like her so much, oh my..."

I chuckled after listening to his words. Yup, who wouldn't miss someone we first met, right? Hihi.

Suddenly, I realized that my letter was done. So I folded it and inserted into a brown envelope. Actually, I did this because I didn't want to make his life miserable.
Then, I passed the letter to Jimin oppa and said, "Oppa, can you please hand in this letter to Jungkook oppa by tomorrow?"

Jimin oppa started to get confused, then he asked, "Huh? Why can't you just tell him everything? After all, you ARE his adoptive sister."

"Please, Oppa. I don't want to waste too much time on socializing with him tomorrow," I begged. Of course, for me, Jungkook oppa's the only person I could count on, followed by Jimin oppa. Plus, I didn't want to keep himself so busy because of me.

Finally, Jimin oppa agreed and took the envelope from me. Suddenly, Jungkook oppa came out of the bathroom. He was so shocked to see me here inside this room.

"Oh, it's you, honey. There you are," he said. Yeah, it's because I promised him to sleep over here with him for one last time.

After Jungkook oppa hung his bath towel, he went to the biz desk to do something that I would never know.

Third Person's POV

Actually, the 'something' that Diana didn't know was Jungkook was going to write a letter to Diana. So he took out a piece of A4-sized single line paper and a black Faber-Castell ball pen, and started writing some words in his letter.

But while he was writing it, his feelings began to haunt him. Perhaps he had been writing everything from inside his heart, and this made him cry silently.

Later, Jimin who was having a chat with Diana overheard Jungkook's crying and went to him to calm him down.

He said, "Jungkook, what's the matter? Why are you crying?" Jungkook kept silent, he decided to hide his feelings from Jimin as he thought that it might be awkward.

Diana, who was just sitting on the bed, felt sorry for Jungkook. She knew she couldn't change the past but she could still change the future of her and her adoptive brother.

~at about 10.15 p.m. ~

Jimin was already asleep, while Diana was waiting for Jungkook to get ready for bed. She was lying down, while recapitulating every memory she had with the BTS since the first day in Dorsett Grand, Subang. She was very happy that she finally became the first SIS student to ever meet them in person.

"Baby?" Jungkook called her out from her back. "You're not asleep yet? What were you waiting for?" He added.

"I was waiting for you, Oppa. After all, I rather sleep together with you and recap our best memories," said Diana.

They had a long chat until it's 11 p.m. Then they lied down, facing each other. While Diana was already asleep, Jungkook placed his hand and rubbed her cheek gently and said, "Diana, I'm very sorry that I have to leave you once again. But, no matter what situation we have, I will always be there for you. I love you, my dearest sister."

Finally, he slept.
