i sat on my bed and chewed on my lip anxiously. i convinced tyler to go to his therapist after he woke up earlier today, he'd been gone for nearly three hours. as i picked my phone up off of my bed stand to call him, i heard the apartment door open. i threw myself off of my bed and ran into the front room to see tyler dusting snow off of the hood of his winter coat and tugging his black beanie off. "how did it go?" i asked as i approached him.

(that's what he's wearing, except with black jeans instead of the warm pants (which i use at my horse barn in the winter and 11/10 recommend if you have to work outside in the winter))

"okay, i guess. i'll tell you about it later, i'm exhausted," tyler said as he ran his fingers through his messy hair and hanging his coat up. "do you want anything to eat? i can make something or pick something up while you rest," i asked, wanting tyler to relax as much as possible until he was feeling better.

"dont strain yourself," he said reaching into his back pocket and pulling out his wallet. he dug through it and pulled out a $20, handing it to me. "order a pizza, this should cover it."

"thanks, go rest up, i'll get you when it's here."

tyler put his hand on my shoulder, squeezing it lightly, before drawing it away and trudging to his room. i sighed sadly as i walked back to my room, grabbing my phone from my bed side table and calling the pizza place.

~~~
twenty minutes later there was a knock on our apartment door, i hopped off the couch and looked through the peek hole, seeing a girl that i recognized from school holding the pizza. i smiled and opened the door for her.
