Fire Pearl

I finally get to meet the others, and get a code!!

I was led into a room that was empty. It had 5 hooks and a drawer. My guide asked me to take the things off the hooks and open the drawer. So I did. The first hook had a vest. My guide explained it was to keep me safe at night, because it would become a force field. It was so we didn't murder each other. The second had a coat, made of fine leather on the outside and a thick material I would use to make the vest on the first hook. It's a protective coat, they are to get my code written on the back the day before we leave. The third had a gun. Pretty self explanatory. Forth had a backpack full of food and blankets. The last hook held a necklace with a pearl charm. You must wear it to protect yourself from some deadly beasts in the mountains. The pearl changes colour once you collect a pearl.

I walked to the drawer. It looked creepy. I opened it. A small slip of paper. It was my code. I read it out loud. 5982. My guide smiled and grabbed my arm, she took me into a room flooded with children my age. It was time I met the others. I walked over to a pretty girl and a charming boy. I smiled. "Hey... I'm... Maylynn. What's your names?" The girl smiled back "Mel. This is my cousin, Alpha." Mel had long blonde hair and wore a pair of black glasses. Her hair went to her knees, and it was tied up. Alpha had brown hair slightly down his neck, and had a crooked smile. He seemed nice, too.

I talked to these two for ages, until the guides asked everyone to leave to their hotel room. I told Mel my room and she told me hers so we could visit.
