Fire Pearl

Into the plane.

We take a plane to the mountains. I'm terrified. Much has happened since I last wrote, but not much exciting. I can't believe I'm about to die.

In the plane I sat next to Mel who sat next to Alpha. We just talked for a bit.

'Ready?' We heard over the mic. 'You will be jumping off at the highest peak. No parachutes.' Everyone was shocked. Screams even. Next thing I knew I was on the edge of the door. Next to Alpha. On the count of 5 we had to jump. '5. 4. 3. 2.' I gulped. I saw the mountain below. '1.' I jumped. Alpha grabbed my hand as we fell. When we landed, I blacked out.

I awoke. Alpha was still holding my hand, yet he was awake. 'Morning.' He said. 'It's been an hour, you haven't been out long.' 'Where is Mel?' I asked. He smiled. 'Alive' 'where?' 'I haven't seen her, but 3 have died.' My heart skipped a beat.

'Glad you awoke though, I thought it might've been 4.' I smiled 'hmm nope. I'm alive. We should search for Mel, and then a map, and then split ways for the pearls.' He frowned, looked down, and spoke 'no, I smell hydra. We gotta run'
