Fire Pearl

After we split ways I wondered over a bridge. I could smell fire, so I looked over at the sky and saw smoke. Some camps. I continued walking, following the map to the pearl.

'STOP!' A young handsome male and a ninja-like, pretty, stealthy girl stood front of me. 'Have you gotten a pearl?' The girl asked. 'Nope. You?' They turned. 'NOPE!' The boy grabbed a knife. 'Watch it!' He yelled. He handed the girl a note. She opened it, read it, and ran off. 'You ready to die?' The boy asked. I whipped out my knife and threatened 'careful, I've already faced a hydra, and I didn't even kill that. I'm in the mood to kill, so watch it.' I continued 'now, I'm not gonna hurt you if you don't hurt me. But I'll stab you if you keep that knife out.' He put the knife way, and so did I. 'Hey, you are quite pretty, care to join the group as my Queen?' He asked. I smiled, but attempted not to. If I accept I'll have everything I want, and then I can escape! 'Kay, baby. Let's go, promise me you'll care for me?' I tried to sound sweet and girly.

We arrived at his shelter, he had 3 other girls with him, and only 2 small beds. Great, just great. I entered the home, and smiled at the others. After introduction I still didn't know his name. I hated betraying Alpha, especially for another guy. I loved him, and it was clear now he loved me. But it was for survival.
