"I know I love you."

"So do you want to actually go to the park today?" Taehyung asked smiling. I nodded my head shyly. I grabbed my book and coat and walked outside into the night when not as many people were out. Taehyung had wrapped his arm around my shoulders, causing a small smile to spread across my lips. I looked up/down at him. "Wanna grab some hot cocoa?" I asked winking at him jokingly, he chuckled and nodded his head, a light pink had graced his nose and cheeks from the cold. Winter had finally decided to roll around turning the gold and reds into a light white and brightly colored Christmas lights. It was truly beautiful, each season bringing something new.

His birthday was going to be coming around the corner as well.

I held the warm mug in my hands, enjoying its warmth. Taehyung hadn't stopped smiling since I agreed to the date. "How is it?" He asked smiling even brighter than usual. "It's good, you?" I replied. 'Last Christmas' by Wham! Started playing in the background of the coffee shop, causing us both to chuckle a little bit. "It's good!" He exclaimed putting the mug down, and stretching his arms above his head. "Ah, what a lovely couple!" An elderly woman said smiling down at us, giving us some sweet desserts. "T-thank you... but we didn't order these..." I said shyly, I didn't know the worker yet, she always worked in the back, cooking all the foods. "Oh I know sweetie, the kind gentleman sent it over!" She exclaimed happily, putting her hands together. Taehyungs eyes followed to where the woman was looking. His eyes widened. "I-I'll be right back (Y/n)... I told him not to follow me around...." He whispered the last part under his breath so I couldn't hear him. He placed his hand on my shoulder before making his way over to the man who bought the sweets.

"I know I love you."

"What the hell do you think you're doing Jimin?!" I asked aggravated at my friend and coworker. "Just thought I'd see what's been keeping you busy recently~" he said tilting his head, and smiling innocently. I rolled my eyes and scowled at him. "I know for a fact I've already told you about her..."
"All you said was that 'She's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen~ and her eyes just sparkle every time I'm around her~' hah!" He mocked and smiled again. "Her name is (Y/n), if you didn't catch that part." I said sighing and looking back at her. She was looking right back. I blushed lightly and turned back to Jimin. "You know you can't tell anyone about this yet, right?"
"Why not?" He asked, genuinely interested. "I.... I haven't told her about BTS yet..." I said embarrassed. "Then tell her." He stated simply. "I can't just straight up tell her. 'Yo, listen... I'm in this really popular k-pop band, BTS, you may have heard about it from a friend or something.' It doesn't work like that!" I said the last part louder than I meant to, making people look at me. "Call me later Jimin." I said walking away, and sitting with (Y/n) again. "Who was that TaeTae?" She asked tilting her head. I just smiled and shook my head. "It was nothing, just a coworker of mine." I said mentally facepalming. 'Couldn't have said cousin? Really?'

"I know I love you."

The man he was talking to earlier, winked in my direction before standing up, paying, and leaving. "Have a good night (Y/n)." He said smiling at Tae and then leaving. "How does he know my name?"
"He's a friend of mine, not just a random coworker." He said smiling brightly again. I just nodded and finished the rest of my hot chocolate.

Once I walked into my house, I invited Taehyung in, and took off my shoes. "I'm gonna go change into my jammies, and we can watch a movie or something!" I said happily. He smiled and sat on the couch and started taking off his coat. I changed into some decent shorts and a baggy t-shirt, and walked out of my room into the living room. I noticed Tae had closed the curtains, and I saw a light from his apartment window. "Who's in your house?" I asked tilting my head. "Just a group of friends I have..." He said shyly. I ran my fingers through my (h/c) hair, before plopping down on the couch. "Aight, so whatcha wanna watch?" I asked lazily. He chuckled at my improper way of speaking. "I dunno, whatcha have?" He asked mocking me. We both laughed at each other. His phone buzzed a second later. "Oh..." I said out loud when he opened the message. "I... I hate to cut this so short... I have some work to do at home..." He said frowning a little. "That's alright TaeTae, we can reschedule movie night!" I said smiling, he pulled me into a short hug and grabbed his coat, before slipping his shoes on and leaving.
