"Now Jess, are you sure you want this one? Why not a Barbie doll or that nice easy bake oven over there?" Sarah, Jess's mother pointed to the third row in the run down toy store. "No, mommy! I want this one!" Jess started to throw a tantrum. Tears welled up in her dark brown eyes and started to roll down her cocoa cheeks. She hopped up and down, her dark brown hair bouncing in pigtails. "Jess shhhh! Ok! Ok, you can have this one." Jess stopped almost immediately and excitedly grabbed the box. She ran to the counter and waited anxiously for her mom to pay the nice cashier. "Oh take it for free. The store is run down and closing anyway. Besides, no one ever wanted this thing even though it came all the way from Britain! Guess no one likes the exotic. It's for the little one anyway. " The man smiled and rubbed Jess's head. She giggled and took the box. "Are you sure sir?" Sarah asked unsure. "Take it ma'am. No problem. " Sarah smiled and left out the doors. "Thank you mister!!!" Jess shouted as she left out the door. Jess excitedly got in her booster seat and let her mom strap her in. They were on their way home, Jess excitedly holding the box. Laughing Jack in a box.
