~Jack~
Within the next hour, people arrived and filled up Jess's house. I was ordered to stay upstairs. Well, it was either that or be lcked in that damn box again. So of course I did as told like a good little clown. I was annoyed for a bit but it was all for Jess. On top of that, she promised we'd hang out later and watch a movie or something. I was also awaiting that infamous kiss on the lips from her. So I did as told and stayed upstairs, waited, and occassionaly watched. The guests finally loosened up after giving their greetings. I didn't mind everything was boring at the moment as long as Jess was happy. I had never seen anything more beautiful than her smile whenever her mother stepped through the front door. All of the good feeling went away for me as soon as I realized that Justin boy was still in the bathroom. I growled to myself and tried my hardest to obey the feeling as I sat in a corner. I did tell that boy to stay away and yet, here he was. Had he completely ignored me and my threats? What's worse is that I had seen the big hug he gave Jess before she came upstairs. The nerve of that foolish boy! I watched him slowly close the bathroom door behind himself and prepare to head downstairs. I silently waited for him to reach the first step before I grabbed him from behind and tossed him into Jess's room. I closed and locked the door behind us, and stood over him menacingly. How dare he flirt with my Jess. How dare he even attempt to come near my Jess!!!
"W-w-who are y-you? Wha-what do you wa-want?" he stuttered horribly. I growled and closed the distance between us. "Stay. Away. From. Her." I warned him once again. I was knowledgeable that he knew exactly who I was talking about. The fear was imminent on his face but I just didn't care in the least bit. "Please don't hurt me!" he begged me. I smiled and showed him my razor sharp teeth. "I'm not going to tell you again, boy. Stay the hell away from my Jess, got it?" I held my claws close to his face and grazed his cheeks, barely creating a cut that was noticible. By the time I let him go, he was trying to keep away tears. I decided to watch him run away, but everything didn't unfold like I had hoped it would. I watched downstairs at Jess while she was talking to her cousin Quan when Justin pushed past her and jogged quickly for the door. "J-Justin? Justin Hey!" She had rushed after him to the outside. I quickly made my way to a window that I could open and listen. In this case, it was the attic window. I opened it up and listened at the crickets as they chirped. There were also the sounds of rushing feet along the driveway. I watched as she had finally caught up to him and placed her hand on his shoulder. "Hey Jus!-" he cut her off by quickly turning around and swatting her hand away. "You know what Jess? I actually thought you were pretty cool, but it's not OK for you to do what you did." he said with an upset and somewhat fearful expression on his face. "Justin, what are you talking about?" She asked him in confusion.
"Oh come on Jess, just give up already. I can understand if you don't like me. You can tell me but you don't have to hire some creep to threaten me with my life!" He fumed at her. There was an abrupt silence before he looked down and sighed heavily. "Justin please..." she begged him. "Look, just...just dont." Justin shook his head and got in the car. "Bye Jess." He rolled up his window and drove away quickly. He left her in the cold night air. I had hoped things would go off without a hitch, but the cat's out of the bag now. Jess would know it was my fault the boy was upste the way he was. The only thing protecting me was the fact that her mom was now home and all the guests were here. But eventually everyone had to go. The man who I have come to know now was called Dr. Barron was really intent to take her mother away yet again to a spa hotel to relax her after getting out of the hospital. That meant that Jess and I would be alone again. That also meant that Jess would come for my throat. "Are you sure you'll be OK by yourself until the day after tomorrow's morning?" Jess's mom asked her one more time before leaving out the door. Jess chuckled. "YES mom. I could handle it when you were in the hospital and I can handle it now." Her mother did a classic finger wag before blowing her a kiss and walking out. "If you need anything, call us Jess." Dr. Barron stated with a smile. Jess nodded and started to clean up party mess. It took her an hour or so to finally finish, but it wasn't that bad. I had hoped she'd forget about everything before coming upstairs but I know better.
She headed upstairs and jumped when she entered the room. "Jesus Jack! I had forgotten you were here." I scoffed and turned to glare at her. "Gee, I forgot there was a 6 foot tall, monochrome killing clown in my house." I joked at her. She threw a pillow at me and laughed. I playfully growled and attacked her. "Jack get off. You weigh too much! My God!!!" She groaned and complained. I had finally gotten off and let her catch her breath. I was lucky enough that she had seemed to forgotten about everything until... *sniff sniff* "It smells like Justin was up here. Speaking of which, he was so pissed off at me tonight. He left the party early and I thought he was going to cry! I can't imagine what he was talking about. Something about a threat." When she said this, I looked around in all directions with a nervous look on my face that I just couldn't hide.
Oh I think she knows what's up.
"Jack...did you have anything to do with this?" She squinted her eyes at me in speculation. I didn't reply so she probably knew something was up. "Damn it LJ!!! Justin meant so much to me and you knew it!" She started to shout at me. I growled angrily and stood up, towering over her. "You shouldn't care about him at all! You told me you loved me!" I defended myself by shouting back. "I can have him as a friend!" She shot back at me. "No!!! How can I trust either of you?!?!" I shouted back at her. Jess finally seemed fed up with it all. "YOU KNOW WHAT? GO JACK, JUST GO! I DIDN'T WANT YOU IN THE FIRST PLACE! LEAVE, JUST GET THE FUCK OUT!!!" She fumed angrily. I just glared at her and stormed out of her room...out of the hallway...out of the house. If she didn't want me here then I damn sure wont stay here with her at all. I should've just left her when I had the chance, or at least killed her. I don't know where I'm supposed to go from here, but I certainly won't be sticking around anymore.
