"Y-you really mean it?"
"Of course we mean it, we'd love to have you as part of the family." Jin said.
"Yes!" Jungkook said happily, hugging them both tightly. He's only known them for a very short time but he felt safe and happy with them, like he could finally have the family he always wanted. His heart swelled when they offered him a home and family without question or hesitation. He suddenly remembered the other four members of the household and the fact that they don't know the truth about him. That sobered him a bit. "What about the other's. Will they accept me?"
"Don't worry about your brothers. They've already accepted you. One thing you never do in this household, is go against eomma." Namjoon chuckled.
"Eomma?" Jungkook asked confused.
"That would be me." Jin answered with a smile, placing a hand to his chest.
Jungkook giggled, but then said. "Still, I-I'd like to tell them. They have the right to know, and have a say if they want me as a member of your family."
"Of course. We can tell them after dinner tonight, okay?" Jin said.
Jungkook nodded.
Namjoon looked at his watch before standing up from the bed. "I have a meeting to attend to so I have to go. See you both at dinner." Namjoon ruffled Jungkook's hair and kissed Jin on the lips before heading out the door.
"So if you're 'eomma' does that make Namjoon hyung 'appa'?"
Jin laughed. "Never thought about it. No one has ever called Joonie that before, but, now that you mention it, yes I suppose it does." He then looked at Kookie in concern. "Does it bother you? My relationship with Namjoon?"
Jungkook shook his head smiling that bunny smile of his, a smile Jin knew would melt them all, even Yoongi. "No, I think it's beautiful. I hope I find a love like yours someday."
Jin ruffled his hair. "You will. Now, how 'bout you get up and get dressed so we can go shopping for clothes and other necessities you'll need."
"But what do I wear? I don't have any clothes. Or money." Jungkook said curiously.
"After I take the breakfast tray back to the kitchen, I'll bring you some of Joonie's clothes, and as for money, you don't need it, I'm paying."
"But hyung-"
Jin shook his head. "No buts, okay?"
Jungkook nodded, saying okay as he got up and headed to the bathroom to shower, while Jin took the breakfast tray back to the kitchen and fetch clothes for Jungkook to wear for their shopping trip.
----------
Jin and Jungkook returned hours later from their outing, laughing and enjoying each other's company, both loaded down with shopping bags.
"Hyung, are you sure it's okay for me to have gotten so much stuff? I don't want the others to think I'm...using you for your money or something."
"Don't worry Kookie, no one will think any such thing. Besides, no more was spent on you than the others don't spend on themselves. Now, why don't you take your things up to your room, then come down and help me with dinner?"
"Alright hyung."
----------
Jungkook was setting the table in preparation of dinner, when four boys Jungkook didn't recognize, walked in, talking amongst themselves. Kookie froze in place, not wanting to draw attention to himself. These must be his ' new brothers', as Namjoon hyung called them this morning.
"Oh, hello." the red head said with a heart shaped smile.
"Um...h-hello." Jungkook stuttered out a greeting, and bowed.
"Jungkook, have you finished setting the tab- oh, hello boys." Jin stepped out of the kitchen to greet his family.
"Hi hyung." three of the boys said, though all four of them stared at him curiously. Jin noticed how nervous and shy Jungkook was in the other boys presence, but before he could ease it, the timer on the oven went off, and he hurried back into the kitchen.
Jungkook fidgeted under their gazes. From what Jin hyung told him about them, they seemed really nice, and he really wanted them to like, and accept him.
"Guys, stop staring, you're making him nervous." said a familiar voice from the doorway.
"Sorry." they said.
"Why don't you guys go get ready for dinner, you'll meet our newest member then."
As the four boys made their way upstairs to their respective rooms, Namjoon walked over to Jungkook and placed a calming hand on his shoulder with a smile.
"Thanks appa." Jungkook's eyes widened, and he covered his mouth in embarrassment at calling Namjoon 'appa'.
Namjoon, however, just laughed lightly at how the maknae addressed him. "That's okay Jungkook, I don't mind. And you're welcome." Namjoon continued passed Jungkook, and into the kitchen, where Jin was just finishing up the last dish, and hugged him briefly from behind, planting a kiss on his cheek in greeting.
"Hyung, the table is set." Jungkook said from the kitchen doorway.
"Thank you Kookie. Help me serve?"
Kookie nodded and helped Jin deliver the food to the table. He paused in the doorway, the four new voices making him nervous. He took a deep breath and followed Jin out the kitchen door, and into the dining room to officially meet and, hopefully, be accepted by his new 'brothers'.
