Chapter Three: School

Max walked into school the next day not even caring that they are walking with a limp. The odd stares were something they were used to but this was different.......these are stares of.....pity? For the first time in a long time Max felt awkward , embarrassed overall uncomfortable. Max quickly made it down the hallway turned left then right then left again. "What the hell was that?" they muttered to themself. Walking to class was just as difficult. Between the stares and the sly comments their day was a fucking mess. Max signed as the first period bell rang and sat down in their seat. "Hi Max!". Max smiled as they remembered their friend (yes Max has a friend) Gabbie. "Hey Gabbie!" Max said with as much enthusiasm they could muster. Gabbie's smile slowly turned into a frown. "So it's true then". Max signed. They always have to correct Gabbie whenever a rumor starts about them. "What's true this time Gabbs?". "........". Max looked over when Gabbie didn't respond and was shocked to find tears running down Gabbie's face. Max fucking panicked. "What is it Gabbie? Did something happen? Who said it? What did they say?" Max just kept on asking question after question. "They said you get raped by your father......Is that true Max?" "...What?" "You fucking heard me Max" "........." Well shit. "Is it true Maxy?" Max flinched at the nickname. Gabbie gasped. "I'll kill him Max I promise I will" Gabbie growled. "Gabbie please don't". Another gasp. "WHAT?!".  "Don't kill him" "Fuck that shit Max! Just give me two hours and a body bag and you'll be home free!" "I SAID DON'T!". At the sudden outburst the whole class(who was listening the whole time)fell silent. At this point Max had tears streaming down their face."Just don't okay.....For me?" and with that Max left the room.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                This may be the shortest chapter I made(idk someone tell me if it's not) but I hope you enjoyed the chapter anyway.
