When I was born, I was deemed female. I was named Samara Renea; and I thought they were right.

Until

At the age of 9, I got access to the internet for the very first time. I got access to the modern world. I had been raised in the small town of Lufkin, Texas and the entire town was homophobic, it seemed. Thankfully, my father got a job opportunity in a slightly larger town, Longview, Texas. It was here, still 9 years old, that I started to notice things. I wanted my hair cut from mid-back length, to "Like a boy's" as I remember saying. Of course, my parents said I was too young to cut my hair that short, for they are a very religious family, my dad, step-mom, and step-sister. This was when I came out as lesbian.
My close family accepted me greatly, saying they would love me even if I was a Satanist (Which I'm not)
From Longview, my father got a few rough spots in a few different jobs. We moved from Longview, to a place in Pine-Tree, back to Longview, to Gladewater, then, finally, to Hallsville.
This school had an extremely LGBT friendly vibe, so it was there that I began experimenting "gender-wise" at this point, I was twelve years old.
I became genderfluid, experimenting with being male, female, and non-binary, depending on what I felt that day. My friends accepted me, and even made me color-coded bracelets, yellow for non-binary, pink for female, and blue for male.
But, I still noticed, something was...wrong.
