Friends with monsters (Dhmis fanfic)

A date?

    We played some more and it became a little bit boring. "Lets watch a Christmas movie!" I said remembering that Christmas was right around the corner. Everyone smiled and agreed. I put on the most classic Christmas movie. Rudolph the red nose reindeer. I put it on and Steve and Cammie made some popcorn. Paige, Tony, and Shrignold took the couch. Steve, Cammie, and Colin sat in the chairs. While me, Harry, Do, and Robin grabbed pillows and laid down on the floor. We all watched and Paige complained about every scene that had green in it till Harry got annoyed and put duck tape around her mouth. She tried to get it off but he told her "If you take that off you don't talk about anymore green.". She sighed and nodded. I laughed as she ripped off the tape then yellped. We continued on the movie and when any song came on i hummed the tune and sang the songs in my head. It was nice.
  Shrignolds POV
   We all smiled and continued on the movie. It was interesting. I didn't like though how the elf boss and the reindeer kids would make fun of Rudolph and the little elf. I sighed and looked down. Hannah was right infront of me humming the song that was playing at this moment. She looked so beautiful. I wish I had the courage to ask her. King Malcolm said that he saw that she loved me too, but why would she love me. I'm just a butterfly. I remember the first day we met. I was in that stupid stuffy jar and she put me in that tank. She thought I was a real butterfly. I smiled and Paige and Tony both looked at me. They gave me a smug look and face started to heat up. I mouthed shut up and they both laughed silently. I buried my face in my hands and blushed deeply.
     The movie came to an end and Paige, Cammie, and Hannah all got up and cheered. I smiled as Hannah danced around. She then left and went to her room. The second she was gone Paige came over to me and asked: "When are you going to ask Hannah out?". Harry heard and turned around and looked at Paige. "Whose asking my sister out?". My heart started to pound
I forgot that Hannah and Harry were related. Good thing I never messed with him. Paige smiled and said, "Shrig has had a crush on her since the day they met!". I blushed more and Harry looked at me. My legs started to shake so I started to float. "I... I like h-her th-that's all." I stuttered out. His expression turned from angry to smug. "So you want to date Hannah?". I was super scared was this gonna be a test? "Y-yes," I said. He came near and said "You can't take her out on one date. I'll talk to her and if things go well..... you can date her.". Even though he showed no emotion I could see he had a plan going on. I nodded and he left with Robin and Doi into Hannah's room. I was so scared. 

    ((HA HA!! That is it! I will leave this at a cliffhanger, sort of. The next chapter will most likely be on the date. Who knows? Anyway, I hope you don't mind this 2 paragraph chapter, lol lazy. Procrastination is my weakness and my friend! I hoped you liked it, buh bye!!))
