I'm Friends with Monsters

               It had been four months since everyone has appeared, and it had been 2 weeks since Shrignold had taken me on the date. But today was important. I looked outside on a cloudy day. It was sprinkling but barely noticeable, the only reason why I knew is that Colin had informed me many times. I watched as a few cars went by but they didn't seem to drive near the house. My sister Hasley was coming back and it was almost summer for us, I couldn't wait to see her. As time grew on I became less excited. Tony noticed this and came over to me. He sat down on the next spot on the couch and said "Hannah, you need to stop worrying. She will be here soon.". I turned around and look at him with a disappointed face. "When?" I ask softly hoping he could go into the future and figure out when she's coming. He gave me an embarrassed chuckle and rubbed the back of his neck saying "Heh, That's the funny thing is uh... I don't know,". I slumped down with those last few words and he said "But hey! I know she's coming today!!". I looked at him and he wore a smile on his face. "I want her right here right now!" I whined sitting up. He sighed and said, "Well time will tell when she comes.". I chuckled and said "Yeah but your time!! So, when will she come?". He laughed a bit and said, "I said I don't know!". I rolled my eyes with a smile and said "Thanks for cheering me up.", I gave him an honest smile and he returned one back. He sat there for awhile in silence before Paige told him to come on so they could finish cleaning Hasley's room for her. I looked over at Harry who was also in my mindset and state. He missed her too, probably way more than me. He hadn't seen her since she was little. "Hey," I said over to Harry who snapped out of his thoughts and looked to me. "Oh uh hey," he said softly sitting up. "Are you ok?" I asked hoping that he wasn't super bad. "Eh, I want to see Hasley.". I nodded and said, "Yeah you're going to be a big surprise for her.". He chuckled weakly with a soft smile before going back to his sad state. 

              It seemed like forever but four hours passed by and there was no sign of Hasley anywhere. I sighed and looked over at Doi. I then got to thinking. Doi and Hasley are the same age. Maybe she will like Doi, I hope so because they're staying with us. With that the doorbell ring. I practically flew over everyone to the door, Harry did the same. We opened the door with glee only to find it is our neighbor. She smiled and said "Oh, hello! I just came by to give you guys your mail that was left at my house. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience.". Harry in disappointment snatched the letter from her and walked off. I looked at him confused then back to her. "Sorry, we're just waiting for my sister. It has been awhile and Harry's not in the best mood.". SHe smiled and said "Oh no you're fine. I completely understand.". With that, she waved goodbye and I shut the door. I looked over at Harry and he was on the couch going through the letters. "HEY!! What the heck was that!?" I yelled at him. He looked at me and shrugged. I shook my head and went to sit on the couch. Doi looked at Harry then me and came over to me. He sat down next to me and asked: "Why is Harry mad?". I then told Doi "Our sister is coming home and Harry was mad that it wasn't her.". Doi nodded and looked over at Harry. Shrignold came and sat down next to me. Doi then asked, "What does she look like?". I smiled and said "Well she has dark red hair. She's your age and a little bit shorter than you. She's sweet and I think you will like her.". He smiled and said, "She does sound nice.". Shrignold looked over at Doi and said "Yeah, you could ask her out! Then we could on triple dates with Tony and Paige.". A blush formed on Doi's face and he became frantic. "Oh uh I don't know," he responded with a nervous look. Shrignold held a laughe but some of it escaped. I nudge him and he looked at me and said "What?!". I smiled and Doi went off to do his own thing. 

            it was now 7:00 and Hasley still haven't appeared anywhere. I flipped another page of my book and started at the top. Then the bell rang once more. I jumped up and ran to the door so did Harry. I opened it to find my mom. My smile grew brighter to see my sister getting her bags from the trunk. My mother was about to say something but stopped and looked at Harry. Tears welled in her eyes as I dodge the hug for Harry and ran over to Hasley. I ran to her and she dropped her bags at the sight of me. I grabbed her and hugged her so tight. I laughed and smile with the warm embrace of my little sister. She laughed and smiled too, "Hasley! Your home!!!" I said hugging her tight. She laughed and said, "I was only gone for the rest of the school year, it wasn't that long.". She then put her arms around me and I said: "It felt like forever.". After she hugged me and pulled away she looked over to Harry who was at the door. She stared at him for a couple second before walking up to him. 

       Harry's POV

   Once mom lets go of me and stepped back I looked over to Hannah. I saw a 13-year-old girl in the arms of Hannah. I didn't even recognize her till Hannah let go and she looked at me. Those bright green eyes could be seen anywhere in my world. It was Hasley. She was so grown up. She was about six years old when I left. Short hair that was curled a lost tooth when she smiled with a couple of bandages where she got hurt in a blue and purple dress, now long partly curled hair with black and white striped bracelets around her wrist wearing a blue hoodie with blue jeans and beat up black sneakers. That was my sister Hasley. She stared at me from afar as if she seen a ghost. It's probably what it was, I haven't seen her in a great while. She walked towards me keeping her eyes locked in on mine. She didn't recognize me till she came up close. I have changed a lot but she has changed so much. I bent down to her size and she looked at me. I put my hand on her cheek like I used to before she went to bed, I then started to hum the song she created for us. She sang the words and she sang beautifully. Tears started to form in her eyes as her smile grew wide. She then started to break up the song as I picked her up and hugged her tight. She returned the hug and nuzzled her head into my shoulder. Her song becomes more and worse but her cries of my name becoming louder. She then pulled her head up as we stopped and said: "I missed you so much.". Her face red from crying but a bright and honest smile on her face. I then said softly "I missed you too.". She grabbed me tighter and hugged once more. It didn't last long because I heard the soft weeps of everyone behind me which caught Hasley by surprise. She looked up and saw everyone. She then started to freak out. She fell out of my arms and onto the ground. "Ouch!" she said rubbing her head. Doi instantly came over to her before anyone else and reached out his hand. "Need help?". She grabbed it hesitantly and he pulled her up. "Hasley right?" he asked, but he already knew her name he was just playing smooth. She nodded, "Doi." he said referring to himself. She then said "Doi." to remember his name. He smiled and walked off. Her eyes sparkled as she watched him go away. I then stood back to let her meet everyone else. 

       She meets Paige and gave her a big hug. "Oh, and the name is P-" Paige tried to finish but Hasley did it for her. "Paige.". Paige looked at her and smiled. Hasley looked over at Tony and took some facial features in "Tony.". He nodded and she looked over to Shrignold. She pointed to him and said "Shrignold.". He nodded and before Hasley could move one Hannah leaned into Hasley and said "My boyfriend.". A smile appeared on Hasley's face. She then continued, "Colin. Steve and Cammie, and.....where's Larry?" she asked looking around for him. We then heard a big crash in the kitchen. We all rushed in to see who it was. Larry on the floor with a beer in hand. Hasley laughed and said "Larry.". Without moving anything else Larry lifted the bottle and said: "What's up.". Hasley laughed and then turned to Robin. She looked at him for a second and I jumped in, "Robin, my best friend!". She smiled and Robin reached out his hand for her. "Hi, Miss Hasley," Robin said as she grabbed his hand. Once we got Hasley settled in her room and everyone was in the livingroom Hasley asked. "Who are these people?" she asked looking towards Hannah. Hannah smiled and said, "Remember getting all the items?" Hasley nodded and Hannah said, "These are the items.". Hasley looked around at everyone. Hasley then said "So your friends with items?". Hannah laughed and looked at Hasley, "Well you could say I'm friends with some monsters.". Everyone smiled and hung around while Doi and Hasley flirted with each other. It was all nice, I was just glad I had everyone I loved or didn't mind. It was amazing to see my two sisters. I could never have asked for a better family.
