I grabbed my backpack and so did he as we both pulled out the sheet for the project. As we both looked at it we realised there were a lot more questions then we were expecting. We also realised that we were going to have to talk in front of the class about what we learned about of the other person and create something or show something that relates to our majors.
"Do..do yo...you wan...want to..to go fir...first?" He asked as I nodded my head.
"Question number one, what is your major?" I asked as a smile spread across his face.
Just like the one before.
"Photography." He said without stuttering once.
"Mines music, performance major." I said as he nodded.
"Seco...second q..que....quest...question, wh..what do..do you en..enjoy to do..do besi...beside your ma..major?" He asked as I knew my answer right away.
"Video games. Absolutely love them. They just allow you to kind of escape from everything else in the world." I said as he nodded his head immediately.
"I..I to..tota....totally agr..agree." He said as I smiled at that.
It was so simple, but knowing that we had that in common made me so happy. Just thinking that we can bond over that made me giddy on the inside. I don't know why, but this boy makes me just go wild.
"Okay, next questions. Question number three, who is your biggest mentor in your life?" I asked as he just went quiet.
The smile that had spread across his face for so long was gone in an instant. He looked so sad. What about that question changed his whole entire mind set? Was it the way I said it? Or was there something more that I would never know?
"Mine would honestly be my best friend JJ, he's been following his dream of becoming a rapper and he's made it so far now. His determination and everything is just really inspiring." I said trying to dismiss the awkwardness of the whole situation.
"I'm sor...sorry, I...I.. thi...think it wou....would be bes....best if you as...asked the...the teac...teacher for...for a ne..new part...partner." He said as I just laughed.
"Do you think that because you didn't answer one question I would want to change my partner? You aren't getting rid of me that easily. I get it. You need some time. How about we just talk, we don't need these papers to do that." I said as he smiled.
He smiled the same beautiful smile from before. Everything about him was so enchanting and gorgeous. I loved every little thing about him. From his cute little stutter to his beautiful smile and gorgeous bluish green eyes. Everything was perfect.
"If...if we..we don...don't do the...the pro...projec...project then wha...what do we...we talk a...about?" He asked as I shrugged my shoulders.
"What video games are you most into? I love to play Fortnite Battleground and games like that with JJ and his brother most of the time. What about you?" I asked as his smile grew brighter.
"I al...also en...enjoy For..Fort...Fortnite to..too. I ab...absolut...absolutely lo...love to..to pl...play min..mini-go...mini-golf games. I...I pla...play Go...Golf It and..and Golf wit...with you...your Friends." He said as I just thought of something.
"You're in to photography, right?" I asked as he nodded his head, "well maybe you could take a couple of photos of me for my headshot. Unless you don't take photos of people, because that's completely fine."
He smiled and got up. He went over to one of his desk and started to rummage around through his different cameras. I had no entire clue what the difference between the cameras were, but he obviously knew it with the way he looked at each one of them. It was honestly beautiful watching him look through them all. He was inspiring.
"Are y...you co...coming?" He asked as he went down the ladders.
I just laughed and got up off the couch, leaving my stuff, and followed him down the ladder. He then started to walk and you knew he was a man on a mission with the way that he walked. He was so confident, unlike any time that I've seen him before.
We soon made it back to the school and I hadn't even really noticed that we made it so far because I was just watching him walk in all of his determination.
We ended up get to this are right at the edge of the school where there was a lone bench. He told me to sit down and he would just start taking photo. So I did exactly that.
We ended up just going on this whole entire photo shoot and it was honestly so much fun watching him at work. The way he moved and knew exactly how to capture the angle and the photo was truly astounding. I was honestly so impressed and in awe by how good he was.

He ended up showing me the photos and what I saw was honestly amazing, "how'd you make me look so good."
"Be..because you...you al...already lo...look that goo...good. I ju...just to..took the ph...photo of wh...who you are." He said making my heart warm.
This boy was honestly the definition of perfection.
