Chapter 2

I was woken up by the sound of my phone buzzing like mad. "Alright I'm getting up" I mumbled to myself; I really can't be asked to get out my pit.

Pulling myself up out of my warm covers, I grab my phone and unlock it to see I have ten missed calls and fifthteen messages. All from Harry.

Oh no. It's 8:10am and school starts at 8:30am. I quickly jump up, run into the bathroom and then after I come out I chuck on a sweater and jeans.

All that running around has made me out of breath. Oh god I just hope I don't look like I did rush this morning.

When I get Into the kitchen my mum is talking to Harry. Wait, Harry's here. "Harry.." I say. He looks at me showing his cheeky smirk. "Hello Tessa, you wasn't replying to my texts and your mum invited me in when I knocked for you." Okay why didn't mum just wake me up? "Oh,I'm sorry I forgot to set my alarm" i actually did so I'm not making any excuses here. " ok let's just go sleepy head" oh so now he's making nick names for me.

Once we finally get out of my house we start walking in silence and it becomes a little awkward so I had to say something, anything. "You excited then?" I say with sarcasm. "Absolutely" he jokes "ha ha...your such a joker aren't you!" I laugh "comes naturally" he tells me "that's obvious Harry"

When we get to school their are lots of girls staring at Harry, probably because he's 'so hot'. Okay I will admit he is but I'm not like one of them 'popular girls' who get every good looking boy in the school. I just think they are sluts because the amount of rumours that go around about girls like them, it's easy to believe.

There are three girls who are the worst and they are exactly what I just described. There is Lucy who is so dumb it's unreal, Courtney who just follows the leader of the group and that's Jennifer. Jennifer Allen is the main 'mean girl',she leads the three of them and she is such a bitch.

They always try to find something to pick at me, even the slightest thing. But they think they are perfect so I'm just gunna let the think that because their really not.

I can see them approaching us and I just know what's coming "watch out for these" I whisper to Harry. "Okay" he whispers back and chuckles.

"Oh look who it is,little Tessa" Jennifer snares at me " Mmm I see you have a little friend with you, isn't he yummy" okay I really don't like where she's going. " Yeah and just leave her alone you bitch!" Harry scolds at her. "Harry what are you doing?" I whisper shout "I'm helping you" he whispers back. " Oh look little Tessie can't even stand up for herself" i literally want to face palm myself because now I feel like a total idiot. "Just shut up Jennifer! Come on Harry we're going" I tried to pull him away but he wouldn't, he is too busy sending daggers at Jennifer. "Harry please" I say and finally he agrees and we walk away from the situation to class.

The whole of the school day was just hell, everyone was staring at me as I walked through the corridors. I take it everybody saw the little scene with Jennifer this morning at the look on peoples faces. Another reason is probably because harry was with me the whole day and they were obviously thinking *why is some hot guy hanging around with her*. That's exactly what their thinking, I know it.

Everyday I go thorough this, people making comments about me. Sometimes it just gets too much.

I'm waiting for Harry to come put of school as we both had different lessons at the end of the day. He is taking ages and everyone has already left school. I'm getting really worried. where could he be? what if he's in trouble?. No Tess stop thinking that, I'm sure he's fine.

I've been stood here for nearly an hour now and I'm thinking of just leaving before it gets dark but I can't, harry doesn't know his way back.

Just when I was going to make an decision and there he was walking out the school doors with Jennifer. Holding each other's hands, fingers intertwined and laughing together. I could feel my heart drop and tears threatening to spill. After he stood up for me and now he does this? Why am I feeling this hurt anyway, I've only known him two days. Get over yourself Tess.

I quickly turn on my heal and start walking as quick as I can. Harry obviously saw me because I hear footsteps getting louder as they padded faster on the concrete. "Tessa wait!" he shouts to me "just leave me alone Harry. I get it, I understand and it's very obvious what your explanation is!"

I starting running faster until his calls fair away. I just ran all the way home to cry my eyes out over someone so pathetic.
