Chapter 3

The whole week Harry had been trying to talk to me but I just ignored him. I don't want to hear what he has to say. It's pretty clear from what I saw.

Now it's finally the weekend, I decided on calling Chloe for a shopping trip. I really need some girl time to get over this headache.

I was just applying my new coral lipstick to finish my look when the door bell goes. I quickly check that I look ok for the day and I honestly think I looked quite good today. I was wearing my acid wash ankle grazers,a plain white top with a chunky necklace and my loafers.

I quickly ran down the stairs and opened the door for Chloe.

"Hey, you ready for some HUGE shopping!?"

"Always! Come on I'm so excited! I have list to get!"

"Always prepared Tessa" I heard her mumble.

"Oi, I heard that!"

We both started laughing and walked to Chloe's car after I locked the door.

The ride to the shopping centre took ages and I was just so excited to get shopping; it felt like hours! I told Chloe about what happened between Harry and I. I was getting so annoyed just by explaining it but luckily Chloe realised and changed the subject.

The first shop we went into was 'Forever 21' it's my favourite. I think I spent over £60 in there. Oops. Chloe was telling me about the time she knocked a whole clothes rail over and the severity alarms were going off as we walked out the shop.

We went to a load of shops and brought ourselves loads of bargains. I brought shoes,dresses,tops,shorts,jeans,joggers and more. Pretty much every object you can buy in a clothes shop. It's weird because when I buy new stuff I just want to wear it all at the same time!

Shopping gives me brain ache after awhile and huge food cravings! We decided to go to Nando's for lunch as we were both staving. There was no booths for us so we had to sit on a table in the centre of the room. I was scanning thorough the menu until the annoying laughing sound got louder. I looked up and saw the most annoying person in the world. Jennifer. But she wasn't alone.

Harry's POV

I really don't know what I'm doing. I was making my way out of school to meet Tessa until I got lost and that's when I bumped into Jennifer. I knew she was trouble, well that's what Tessa told me so I went by going by her word. I really had no clue how to get out of school so Jennifer was my only option. "Hey, um Jennifer right?"

"Oh hey harry! yeah I'm Jennifer"

I couldn't work out of was was actually being nice or faking it.

"I was just wondering if you could help me find my way out of here, I'm a bit lost"

"Yeah come with me,its this way" I had a feeling she was gunna be a nasty bitch since I was the one shouting at her earlier, protecting Tessa. Jennifer seems like a nice genuine girl so I may as we'll be friendly with her. I can be friends with who I want.

Jennifer wouldn't stop talking but it was quite funny, the way she was just talking about anything to keep the convocation going. I couldn't hold in my laughs because some things she actually said were funny.

When we got to the school doors, Tessa was there. I checked my watch and it was gone 4 o'clock. I must have been talking to Jennifer for ages and walking really slowly. Tessa didn't look too please maybe because I was with Jennifer. I have to explain to her and tell her Jennifer isant all that bad. The look on Tessa's face was not a nice sight , she had tears threatening to spill down her face and her hands where clenched in tight balls.

I quickly looked at Jennifer and she had a huge smile on her face as if she was proud. "I have to go, thanks for your help though" her smile dropped but before I could say anything u started running towards Tessa. Tessa quickly ran before me and I could see she was now crying. I need to tell her why I took so long and that she should have gone with out me instead of waiting for over an hour for me in the cold.

"Tessa wait!"

She didn't reply she just kept running;she can run pretty fast, I can't even catch up with her.

"Tessa just let me explain!" I called to her but she didn't listen. I think she ran all the way home without stopping. I really need to find out what happened between Jennifer and Tessa, there has to be something really bad for them to hate each other this much.

I eventually reached my house but I didn't want to go home yet, I need to speak to Tessa. I knocked on her door but no one came to answer. I must have really hurt her feelings but I couldn't help being lost.

I walked back to house and when I walked in I just went straight to bed. I was staring to feel very worried about Tessa and I hope we can forget about this. I just need to talk to her alone and I really want to get to know her more. She sees like she's hiding something's , we'll I know she is and I am willing to help her. I just couldn't stop worrying and that's weird for me because I never worry.

Me and Tessa haven't spoken at all since the day I got lost. I have tried calling her over 50 times a day but she just declines my calls. I knock for her in the mornings and after school but her mum just tells me she's not in. I know she's in but she must hate me. Every time we make eye contact at school she just looks away from me. I don't know what else to do to get her to talk to me.

I spent most of my week with Jennifer and her friends. I've made quite a lot of friends and apparently I am a popular now.

It's now the weekend and Jennifer is still on my case. She kept asking me to come to the shopping centre with her on Saturday but I just told her boys dont do things like that. Shopping is for girls like football is for boys; well most of the time.

I have nothing to do so I may as we'll make a day of it so I pull out my phone and call Jennifer that's I'm coming. She wanted me to drive so had to pick her up.

After a huge convocation on where we should eat we got to the centre. I suggested we should go to Nando's as I used to go there with my mates from my old school. She agreed. 

She took me in all the girly shops and brought a load of shoes. I found it quite boring and I really needed to eat. I had to drag her out of the shop so we could go. It was quite a laugh.

We entered Nando's and a kind man seated us to our table. It was a table for two, both of us sat opposite each other. It looked like we was on a date. That took me into deep thought  of  what it would be like to date Jennifer. Would I be able to cope with her spoilt self? Her rubbish jokes?. I was interrupted by Jennifer clicking her fingers in my face. I smiled at her " sport just day dreaming". " Oh it's fine Haz"  I don't like they way she calls me that, it's as though she shouldn't be saying it. We both ordered they same; spicy chicken burgers and fries. The waiter told us we have an half an hour wait for food but that was okay for me as I wasn't bothered about being dragged into more shops.

I was just talking to Jennifer about how I used to always get the biggest table with my friends and she was laughing hysterically as something that wasn't funny at all. People were looking at us because Jennifer's laugh was quite loud , I even started laughing myself. I looked around the restaurant and a lot of people had left. Then I saw two girls chatting away and one looked round from her friend and looked at Jennifer laughing. It was Tessa. She was with her friend, who I've never seen before. Her eyes then moved to me and we both were just staring at each other. Her friend turned to see what she was looking at and that broke the contact. Tessa quickly got up and went to the toilet. I got up and quickly walked up behind her. She went to the women's, knowing I can't go in there but I had no choice. I followed her in and into the cubicle. When she turned around she screamed I had to try and stop my self from laughing at her. I can't believe I'm this close to her and she can't even stand me. " What are you doing! Harry get out!" she shouted at me. " No I don't care what you say, just let me speak to you. I haven't spoke to you for a week and I want to make things right between us again. Please!" she didn't say anything, she just looked at me waiting for me to go on.
