I slowly open my eyes. It felt like everything that just happened was a dream. The sunlight was pouring in through the window and the birds were chirping. I look over to see Len, who was somehow right next to me, still breathing quietly like he was last night. His head was above mine, and my head was resting lightly against his chest. I blinked. How did he get here? There was a knock at the door. I closed my eyes and pretended like I was sleeping.

“LEN! OPEN UP!” A sharp voice yells. I could easily recognize that it was the princess. She knocks furiously.

“Ah. Just as I suspected. Reproducing with this other servant. Might as well crash this party.” Rin stops knocking and starts, what I think, hitting herself against the door. After a few failed attempts, she twists the handle and bursts open the door. I sink lower under the blankets.

She walks in, observing the room, looking around. She finally notices the bed and walks toward it, soon noticing that Len and I were asleep. Rin scowls.

“WHY DO I MISS EVERYTHING?!” She screams. Len suddenly wakes up, wondering what’s going on. He looks down and sees me, resting against his chest. He was speechless for about a second, and then he finally had a reality check.

“Shut up, Rin.” Len rubs his eyes.

“I missed you reproduce!” She pounds her foot on the ground.

“Okay, Rin, I did NOT reproduce.”

“Oh, sure you didn’t.”

“I swear I didn’t! And besides, you probably woke her up.” Len says.

“The one you reproduced with?”

“SHUT UP!”

“Fine. You didn’t repro-”

“I didn’t.” Len crosses his arms.

“But you DID make out.” She beams, thinking she knows everything.

“Still, No.”

“You liar!” Rin screams.

“I’m not lying!” He yells back at her.

“Oh, sure. If I believed you.”

“Rin, get out of here. I’m going back to sleep.”

“Fine. Go back to sleep. See if I care.” Rin walks out and slams the door.

“Hey, Miyuki.” He whispers while stroking my hair. “Don’t listen to Rin. She doesn’t know anything.”

I open my eyes again.

“Hi there.” He smiles.

“W…what are you doing up?” I rub my eyes. I pretend like I haven’t gone through this already.

“Rin and I had a quarrel.” He pats my head.

“Why?”

“Long story.”

“Oh.” We sit there for a moment, silently while Len strokes my hair.

“We should be getting up, shouldn’t we?” I ask. We get up. I grab my clothes out of the dryer; walk into the bathroom and change.

I come out, Len shirtless again. I’m not surprised.

“Get used to it.” He tells me.

“Sure thing.” I roll my eyes. It is now about eight.

“Do you want to see some other things around the castle?” Len asks. I nod.

So, we leave and we walk down a flight of stairs, and Rin spots us.
