Haku walks back in through the door, telling us that the ambulance is here. She wheels in a bed on wheels and Len and I try and pick her up and place her on there. I help wheel the cart, one of his hands are on top of mine and the other one grasping the rail. Once we finally get in the ambulance, he and I stand back where Miki’s cart is, my heart furiously pounding in my chest. Len digs out his tablet that was in his satchel and gives it to me to borrow. I give him a hug, sit on the floor of the car and turn it on. Not even any of his fun games made me feel any better. When the car skidded to a halt, I followed Haku while we were pushing the cart into the ER. They placed Miki on a table and stripped her of her shirt. It wasn’t the most pleasant sight, but we’re trying to get Miki back to life, here, so it didn’t matter. She took out a set of Defibrillators and placed it on her chest. The buzzing sounded a bit painful.

I nearly fainted when I saw a miracle; Miki’s chest steadily going up, and down. Her eye’s slowly opened. I gasp. “MIKI!”

Once she was almost fully aware of what was going on, she looked around,

“W…where am I?” She said unsteadily. She looked down at herself and blushed. When she saw Len, she was stuttering. A mixture of embarrassment and confusion.

“W…what’s a guy doing here?” She asks me. I pretend like I didn’t hear that.

“MIKI! YOU’RE ALIVE!” I start to cry.

“Please, not again.” Len tries to stop me.

“Oh…Okay…” I sniff.

Haku tells us that she’ll have to stay here for a couple of days. I’m a bit sad that I won’t see Miki, but I’m rejoicing that she didn’t die all the way. She gets up, puts a robe on, which makes Len and I sigh with relief that we wouldn’t see that image anymore, and she gets into a wheelchair and goes to a room. She settles in, so then we get to talk to her.

“Who is him?” Miki points to Len.

“Miki, this is Len Kagamine, the servant.” I say.

“Ohh…” She notices. “So this is the one.” She smirks.

“So I was half-naked, where you and Len were watching?” we both nod.

“Did you mind…?” She covers her breast-area.

“No, I have a twin sister.” He says.

“Good. I feel less disgusted now. But it was embarrassing.” Miki says.

“Now I can’t get that image out of my head.” Len hits his head on the wall.

“Ah, get used to it.” I say. “It’s better than being fully naked.” He laughs at my remark.

“Was I?” She asks. I shake my head.

“Are you going to be Okay here?” I ask.

“Sure, sure. I have three square meals a day, a television with cable, everything is awesome here.” She smiles.

“You’ll be back home in about three days, or so.” I say. “I’m just overcome…” I sniff again. Len puts a hand on my shoulder and I look at him in the eye.

“Please, no crying.”

I take another deep breath in.

“Thank you.” I say.

“Y’know, crying too much is unhealthy.” He informs me.

“I…I’m sorry…” I draw my hands behind my back. “It’s just that, I’ve been so emotional.” I wipe my left-over tears from my eyes. Len pats my head.
