saying that cuts me

because it's admitting you're forgotten

saying that kills me
more than your sadness
because it's admitting you're fading
when i say that.
please don't leave.
"stay"
saying that makes me bleed
more than time's cruelty
because it's admitting you're right here
when i say that.
and right here
is a curse to say
because it's proving that you're the best thing
and all the best things come to an end.
