I got changed into my swimsuit. And put on the team cap they gave me. I walk out on deck and run up to Kathleen. The coach looks at me and walks up to me "I'm Coach Vanessa Kilo, I've looked at your past swim times and I think you can do good on this team. But you will need to work hard to succeed. I'm setting up a hard practice schedule to get you to the big meets like the Trials or the Olympics." "Thank you so much for this opportunity I will not let you down". She walks away and I turn to Kathleen "Is she always like that?" "I think we found her new favorite" she says elbowing me and laughing. Then a group of girls came up to us "Gillian, this is Quinn and Madi. They are part of our Relay team" "Nice to meet you I'm Gillian Besson, 17 years old and next year I plan on competing for the Texas Aggies. They are my dream college" "Hi I'm Quinn Olson, 18 years old and swim for the UCLA Bruins" "And I'm Madi Herron, 16 years old and I hope to swim for Harvard" "Are you Zach's Sister?" I say and she nods "that's cool I'm Corbyns younger sister". We turn to the board and notice the set is up. I put my goggles on and jump in the pool. I finish warmup and then wait to start 12x100's on the 1:05. I make all of the sets and then sit and wait for everyone to finish. Coach Kilo calls everyone out of the water. "Let's make the new girl feel welcomed" everyone claps "So Gillian, will you be up for a race against Braden?" "Yeah, I'm totally up for it" I say and then she explains the race. I step on to the block and get ready. "Take your marks" I go down into starting position "go" I jump off the blocks in diving positions as hard as I can. I start swimming freestyle and make it into my flip turn in first. I race back hitting the wall so hard. I won against Braden. I got a 23.03 in my 50 free. "That was a good race" I turn around and see Braden staring a me. "Oh, Thanks" I say and he continues to stare at me "Is there a problem?!" "No, But I would like to take you out sometime" I blush and nod "How about tonight at 7? I can pick you up!" "Give me your phone" I say and he hands me his phone. I put my name in his phone as 'Gilly😘' . I hand him back his phone and head back to the girls. "Are you going on a date with him?" Quinn asks and I nod "he's so cute" "He really is" the thing is I really like Jack but I don't think he likes me. "Just saying this now, I think you and Jack would be a better couple" Kathleen says, I blush "Jonah talks about the way you blush around him and now I see it" "Fine I like jack, but he obviously doesn't like me back" I say and they nod "We need to take a photo" I grab my phone and give it to one of the swimmers to take a photo. When we get to the locker room, I change and take a shower. I look at the time 3:15. I get an Uber and while I wait post a picture on Instagram.

I guess was mad at another thing and it transferred ove...." I interrupted him "I should have let you explain. I'm sorry for calling you a rich bitch" "I'm sorry for calling you spoiled". We hug some more until we went into the living room to see all the boys. Except Jack. "Hey Guys!" I hug all of them and then say "Where's Jack?" "Idk, I think he is out by the pool with Aspen" Ughh god I met Aspen once. She hates me and I hate her. We used to be best friends but she just used me. It's obvious that they are probably dating. I knew he didn't like me. I doesn't matter though I have Braden now. We talk for a while until I have to head out. Jack came in with Aspen right before I left. "Bye guys. I got to go clean up for my date". I only said that to make Jack jealous. It worked. I looked over at Jack and he had a clenched jaw. "Woah,Woah,Woah. Your dating someone already?" Corbyn asks "Well. No. Maybe. idk he just asked me on a date and I said yes". I head out the door to my Uber and it pulls up to Lydia's. I walk in and get ready. —————————————————————
