It was just another day of boring old high school, you were graduating next year (thankfully) and got to leave as soon as possible. Your parents never had a problem with whatever you wished to do in the future wether it was college or just getting as far as you could from your small town. As you sat up in bed you took a quick glimpse at the calendar nearby. Your birthday was coming up in a week, how could you forget? You sat there for a while contemplating what that day would end up being like. Maybe you'd meet someone who actually cared.

You finally sighed and shook the thoughts away, your mind always went to those worst case scenarios, from your ex being a jerk all the way to the apocalypse. You stood up and calmly walked to your dresser, opening each drawer, rummaging around and grabbing some half decent clothes. You took a look in the mirror and brushed your [H/C] hair, never bothering with makeup because of the pure hassle and time waste of it all. You thought for a second how you should take a shower, instead putting it off until tomorrow, besides how much time did you have anyways? 'Oh shit' you thought before you quickly turned to look at you clock. 'I'm gonna be late.'

You rushed down the bland hallway to the bright and open kitchen, giving your mom a quick hug before she could get a word in you scooped your [F/C] bag up, only one strap connecting your fragile shoulders. You opened the door and carefully walked down your front porch steps to your car. Sure it was a little rough around the edges, rusty, not the most fancy new model, but it was all your family could afford and you loved it more than your parents had thought. You turned the keys, starting the car and backing out of the drive way. The drive to the school wasn't the shortest so you played a few songs on the way there, jamming and singing the words as you passed the streets of houses. Soon enough you finally pulled into the school, it was a pretty big school for a small town, it was much like your car, rough around the edges so to say. You found a spot to park and got out of your car, locking the door and making your way into the building, up the front steps.

It's been a while! Welcome to my new story for those of you who read my one-shots. This is a slow start but believe me it will be absolutely worth it. I'll try my best to post more often, I don't want to leave my lovelies on a cliffhanger.
