"A-Ah... You sound familiar—are you..." (Y/n) trailed off, trying to regain her thoughts. "O-Oh—excuse me... I'm your brother's friend. I'm the producer of 315 productions." The male's voice explained. Shiki stammered "B-Brother? You have a brother (Y/n)-cchi?" The girl paused for a second before slowly nodding her head. "Yeah," she started "though I haven't seen him... For 10 years..." The so called producer began to speak again "(Y-Y/n)! I-I'm sure your brother would be extremely glad to see you—would you like to talk to," "N-No... I'm sorry for the interference, I'll be going now. You can take your phone back Hayato, I'm going to take a walk..." (Y/n) cut him off as she got up from her chair and left the room, leaving the others in shock.
"P-Producer... You know of somebody who's related to (Y/n)?" Hayato asked. The voice on the phone hummed as an indication that he knew something. "Yeah... I'm sure she's going to explain very soon anyways." He sighed. "I-I'm going after her." Shiki announced as he abruptly left the room. "Can you please explain Producer?" Haruna asked. The male thought for a second before replying. "I think this is something you should ask her personally," "But I think the only person who can ask her such a question... Is Shiki..." Jun quietly interrupted. Then the room fell silent; everybody knowing that he was right.

(Y/n) walked down the halls of Jyonani High School, letting out an exasperated sigh every few steps. As she reached the stair case heading downstairs, she heard loud footsteps coming from the direction she came from. Not bothering to check who it was, she stopped in her tracks, holding onto the railing of the staircase. "Jeez (Y/n)-cchi... I never knew... That you—were such a fast... Walker..." the familiar voice panted out, obviously tired from the somewhat short trip. "Sorry Shiki... I didn't mean to walk out on you guys like that—it's just," the girl paused "I... I never knew that my brother—that I would hear of him—this way." She said as she let out a measly laugh. Shiki, however, didn't know how to react in this kind of scenario. He was so used to her laugh, or telling him to calm down. Never, NEVER, in his whole life, would he expect for her to crumble like this.
"I just haven't seen him for more than half of my life... He's never really been there, but... That doesn't mean I forgot the small moments I've had with him..." She rambled, her voice beginning to crack a little. He wanted to embrace her, hug her even more tightly than ever before—tell her that it was okay for her to cry in front of him. Because... He was the very one who didn't want to be separated from anybody. Especially her.
The girl slowly turned her head around, wiping any excess tears in the process. "Nee, Shiki... I never told you about my past before, haven't I?" She asked quietly. Shiki only store at the girl, not knowing how to respond once again. Don't I know her parents? I've been friends with her since kindergarten—so how? "(Y/n)... cchi..." he slowly said, still staying in place. The girl only giggled in return, although it wasn't a real one. "Here, I'll explain everything so why don't we sit here for a while?" She asked as she sat on the top row of stairs. He slowly nodded as he took a seat next to her, quite closer to her than a normal person would.
"So... When I was a baby, my father passed away in a car accident. Not even a year later, my mom passed away from some sort of stomach cancer..." She began quietly. Shiki's eyes widened either in shock or sadness as he slowly turned his head away, pained to look at her face. "I didn't have any distant relatives in Japan, so I was sent to an orphanage. Not too long after, I was adopted by my parents, whom are still my parents today. They had a son, quite older than me. At least 17 or 18 by the time I was adopted. They treated me as apart of their own. I met you in kindergarten, and I know you've met my parents by then... But my brother... He wasn't really around. He always changed clubs during school, insisting that he "had the passion" for it. Then he fell in love with music. He worked hard to learn everything—even when it came down to a certain instrument. And suddenly... He disappeared. He was already in his final year of high school, and he did indeed graduate, but he left. You can't even imagine how heart broken my parents were. I've heard that they've got in touch with him every so often, but what upsets me the most is that he left without a word. Mom and Dad are happy as long as he's safe—after all, he's an adult now, but this is the only time... That I can't bring myself to face somebody..." She stopped and glanced at the boy, who caught her eye before looking back at the floor.
A pink hue spread across his cheeks, as he remained silent. (Y/n) let out a small chuckle before poking his cheek, snapping him out of his trance. Shiki flinched as he pulled back a little bit, earning himself a small laugh. "I'm sorry, that was quite a long story wasn't it." Shiki shook his head and faced (Y/n) dead on, grabbing ahold of her face, forcing her to look at him. Redness spread across the girl's face, like lava erupting from a volcano. "I'm sorry (Y/n)-cchi! I never knew about your past and how rough it was! I'm SUPER MEGA MAX sorry that I never take the time to listen to you—and I'm sorry for being such a bad friend," "Don't you dare say the Shiki!" (Y/n) interrupted, grabbing ahold of Shiki's face as well. "I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you! You can't even imagine how much you've affected my life—in a good way! I would be totally lost without you—so don't you dare say that you're a bad friend!" She ranted, slowly inhaling sharp breaths. "S-Sorry again... I've gotten out of control for the nth time today..." (Y/n) stuttered as she frantically let go of Shiki's face, Shiki withdrawing his hands as well.
"No, you're completely fine to the MEGA MAX! Let's grab some drinks then, shall we?!" Shiki exclaimed happily, attempting to lighten the mood. (Y/n) was awestruck because of the boy's upbeat and lively personality, quickly agreeing with his request.
"Thank you Shiki." The girl smiled brightly as they walked to the vending machine. Shiki's cheeks lit up for the millionth time today before replying with his usual bright smile.
