♪ Shiki ♪
Hold up a moment... Can anybody—literally anybody tell me why I kissed (Y/n)-cchi on the cheek?! Well—she looked quite adorable—hold it. She ALWAYS looks adorable to the MEGA MAX. Wait... Why am I talking to myself again?
"Arghh!! Guys~ I can't take this anymore!!" I complained as I rested my head onto the table. The concert just finished an hour or two ago, and we were all eating at a ramen shop (Y/n)-cchi suggested. She went to the bathroom a few minutes ago. "What's wrong? If it's about you almost falling off of the stage, then don't worry about it." Haruna-cchi joked. "Not cool man!" I hissed as I grabbed the glass of water sitting in front of me. "Is it about... (Y/n)?" Natsuki smiled as he talked slowly and quietly. I spit out the water in my mouth as all of us turned our attention to him. After a second of staring, everybody looked at me, smug grins on Hayato-senpai and Haruna-cchi. Natsuki-cchi just smiled happily as Jun-cchi let out an exasperated sigh.
"Wrong! Totally MEGA MAX wrong!" I exclaimed loudly, shooting up from my seat. "Shiki? I could hear your screaming from the bathroom—are you okay?" (Y/n)-cchi sighed as she walked over to her seat, which was in between Haruna and I. "(Y/n)! Here's your ramen!" The man with green hair and a bandana wrapped around his forehead placed a medium sized bowl filled with ramen as he smiled. "By the way (Y/n), I don't know about you, but these boys are probably hiding something from you." He laughed as he placed bowls of ramen in front of the rest of us. "Eh? What did they say?" She asked as she glared daggers at everybody. "Hmm, you should ask the loud mouth sitting next to you." He laughed as he reached over the bar and slapped my back playfully, although it still packed a punch.
"So Shiki~ What're you hiding from me?" (Y/n)-cchi asked nicely... Too nicely. "N-Nothing (Y/n)-cchi! I would never hide something from you! I MEGA MAX swear to god!" I rambled as I felt my face become pale. An overly nice (Y/n)-cchi is never good... "Yeah, don't worry about it (Y/n). Shiki always says the most random stuff at random times. He didn't say anything." Hayato-senpai assured as Haruna-cchi couldn't stop laughing. He slowly calmed down as he nodded his head in agreement.
"... Sure. Well, I'll begin to eat my food now..." (Y/n)-cchi announced awkwardly as she opened her wooden chopsticks ("broke them in half") and began to eat her ramen. I slowly let out a sigh of relief as I glanced over at Hayato-senpai and Haruna-cchi, who were both laughing about something. Natsuki-cchi was just talking with Jun-cchi. This is so awkward to the MEGA MAX...

"Thanks for bringing us here (Y/n)! We'll see you tomorrow—you too Shiki!" Hayato waves as he went of in a certain direction with Haruna. "Us too. See you." "See... You..." Jun and Natsuki announced as they went off in another direction. "Well, I guess it's just the two of us." Shiki sighed. "Nee, (Y/n)-cchi, we always go home together, can I visit your place on the way back to mine?" He brought up. (Y/n) didn't reply, rather, she was staring off into space. "(Y/n)-cchi? (Y/n)-cchi??" Shiki asked, waving his hand in front of his friend's face. "Oh, sorry Shiki... Did you say something?" The girl apologized. "N...No... Are you okay? It's HYPER MEGA MAX weird for you to doze off like that." The usually hyper boy asked, worry etched in his tone. (Y/n) paused before giving the boy a small smile. "... It's nothing. Let's get going okay?"
Shiki mumbled some inaudible words before agreeing with the girl, not wanting to cause a scene at such a late hour. The two walked down the street in silence, which felt quite weird for the glasses wearing boy. "(Y/n)-cchi... Is there something wrong?" He asked in a low voice. The girl wasn't really used to this serious aura surrounding her best friend, but she didn't flinch. (Y/n) stopped in her tracks before facing Shiki.
"Do... Do you think the reason that my brother left... Is because of me?" She asked quietly, not making eye contact with him. Shiki's serious demeanor faltered for a second before he pulled himself together. "Of course not (Y/n)-cchi!! Why would anybody—no, who would do something like that?" He asked, raising his voice a little bit. "My... Birth parents..." She replied, her voice almost inaudible. That sentence caused Shiki to snap. "That's in the MEGA MAX past (Y/n)-cchi!! If they couldn't see anything good about you, then maybe they aren't worth your time! Stop wasting so much energy thinking about your past—that doesn't matter anymore! You're here in the present... You're safe... And you're happy for the most part... Just leave it be okay? And I MEGA MAX promise you that everything will play out correctly..." He rambled as he caught is breath. Shiki walked up to the girl, who glanced up at the boy.
"And if something does happen to you... Just know that... That I'll always protect you." He finished as he store at the girl. (Y/n) began to giggle as tears of joy streamed down her face. "Thank you... Shiki. You're the first person who ever said that to me... Thank you Shiki..." she thanked him multiple times as she began to wipe her tears away. The boy smiled as he hugged the girl tightly. "I LOVE YOU (Y/N)-CCHI!!!" He shouted.
(Y/n)'s face became a crimson red as she decided not to question the boy. As Shiki came to realization to what he said, he flinched before quickly detaching himself from his best friend. "B-But not like that (Y/n)-cchi!! Y-Y'know—you're my best friend!! I don't love-love you—but I love you...?" Shiki attempted to explain, waving his hands around like an idiot. She laughed as she smiled at the boy. "I love you... In that manner... As well Shiki." She giggled. Shiki smiled as the two continued on their way home.

Hello everybody! I'm so sorry that I haven't updated in a while!! I've been working on an AMV (Anime Music Video) for a convention coming up... But I missed the submission deadline soooo... I'll continue to have consistent updates!
If you could tell, the guy serving ramen to everybody was actually Michiru Enjoji, a unit member of THE Kogadou. Also, I really apologize if this chapter came off as cheesy... I try adding fluff here and there, but it never comes out correctly (fml) well, I'll you you all next chapter!!
