Not The Same

"See you tomorrow!" I exclaimed playfully as I jumped on him and wrapped my arms around his neck. He quickly caught me and held me tight so that I wouldn't fall.

"O-oh, you're so energetic even at this hour. It's almost 12, you know?" he said and smiled at me under his mask.

"Sorry."

"It's fine. Please rest well and sleep tight. Goodnight, Ky."

"Goodnight, Taetae."

I waved at him as he turned his back and walked with the 5 members.

"Panda!" Jungkook murmured as he engulfed me in an embrace, almost as if he's not gonna let me go.

"Jungkookie..."

"Goodnight," he said as he let go of me and ran to catch up with his hyungs. I smiled to myself and entered our dorm only to see Jixy-unnie staring into an empty space.

"Unnie, you're creeping me out," I said and stood beside her while waving my hand in front of her face.

"We got closer, Kyleen. We're becoming bestfriends," she said monotonously, still looking at nothing.

Dang, she's weird. I couldn't blame her tho, I think it's her first time falling for someone. Kim Seokjin's a great guy, I'd love to see them as a couple!!!

"Unnie, when are you going to confess?" I excitedly asked but my head got smacked in return.

"Pabo ya! Confessing will only ruin our still blooming friendship," she pouted. "Let's just rest, we still need our voices for tomorrow."

"Ara, ara! (okay, okay)"

After hanging out with the boys, we all went home to rest because we still have to practice and record our comeback song tomorrow. I entered the room I share with Thalia and Margarette unnie and plopped myself down on my own bed.

"Kyleen," I heard Margarette call my name before closing our room's door and chugging a bottle of Soju. Why is she drinking right now? If she wakes up with hangover, manager-nim's going to scold her. 

'She's not an expert drinker so why drink? If only I could smack her head right now.'

"Hmm?" I closed my eyes and hummed as my response. I waited for like seconds for her answer but it didn't came so I opened my eyes and found her standing right beside my bed with her hands placed on his hip.

She scoffed and I raised my eyebrow immediately.

"You don't really get it, do you?" she asked veraciously.

"Get what, unnie?" I asked her and smiled even though I'm already tired. What is she doing now?

"Wow..."

"I'm tired, unnie... Let's just talk tomorrow," I said before standing up to fix my bed when she suddenly gripped my wrist and made me face her in a harsh manner. I winced in pain but acted like I didn't care.

Damn it, her nails just dug into my skin.

"What now?" I asked, clenching my teeth because of the pain.

"I'm still talking to you. Don't you really get it?" she asked, raising her voice.

"I asked you what you were talking about! How am I supposed to know when all you did was scoff and stare at me. Were you even talking properly?"
