Jamine's POV:
I was waiting for Cal to accept my Skype call, the stupid Skype ringing sound was annoying me, and I've been waiting for few good minutes already.
The annoying sound stopped and on the screen 4 laughing lads appeared.
"HEYYYY JASSSS!" Cal greeted me with a big smile.
"We're sorry that we took some time to answer… we were just getting ready." Ashton said.
"Ready for you!" Michael yelled from the back.
"W – What?" I asked, a weird expression on my face.
"Luke was running around with no pants and we were just fooling around…" Cal explained.
"AND CAL SAID THAT WE HAVE TO BEHAVE." Luke shouted.
"Like I don’t know how you really are!" I said laughing.
"Oh, I almost forgot! I'll join you in LA!" I yelled excitedly.
"YASSSSSS!" The boys shouted.
"What are you waiting for?" Michael asked. "Go pack!"
"I'm already set up, my flight's tonight!" I cheered.
"I'm glad that you're joining us…" Cal said smiling.
"Boys! Recording time!" one of the crew members yelled from the door way.
"Gotta go! I miss youuuuu!" Cal pouted sweetly and waved goodbye.
"Don't worry! I'll be there soon! Bye guys!" I said my goodbye's and ended the call.
Cal's POV:
"Someone's in L O V E!" Luke said wiggling his eyebrows.
"Cal, you like her don't you?" Ash asked, smiling.
"of course that I like her! She's my best friend…" I trailed off.
"I mean, in a like – like situation." Ash said.
"Who's coming against me?" Mikey yelled from the couch, referring to the FIFA game.
Flashback:
A year ago.
"Jas?" Calum's voice echoed through the phone.
"What's going on, Cal?" Jasmine asked.
"She – she –" Calum started with a hint of crying in his voice.
"She dumped you." Jasmine stated.
"I just don't know what I'll do now, I can't believe that she actually broke up with me. I mean, what's so wrong about me?" Calum asked, his voice breaking mid-sentence.
"Nothing's wrong about you, Cal. You'll find someone who'll understand you, someone who'll be there for you, through thick and thin." Jasmine said, trying to comfort her best friend.
For 2 hours, Calum complained about the breakup, on the phone, to Jasmine.
She couldn’t do a thing but listen and be there for her best friend, it broke her heart to see him like that.
"You know what, Cal? What about a sleepover? You'll come to my place and we'll watch movies all night with battered popcorn, and we'll just have fun, thinking about exes is out of options!" Jasmine suggested.
"I'll be there." He answered, in a more cheered voice than before. "Hey, Jas?"
"Yeah?"
"Thanks for being a good friend." He said and with that he hung up.
Back to the present:
"Nononono, she's my best friend, she helped me out through breakups, she's been there forever, we're just friends." I said.
"If you say so.." Mikey said.
Jasmine's POV:
"Good luck, Jas. I mean, I'm sure that he'll feel the same, you’ve been there for him since forever. It would be weird if he wouldn’t like you back." My friend Ashleigh said as she drove me to the airport.
"But – what if he likes me, but as a friend? ONLY a friend?" I asked, worried.
I've had a crush on Cal since forever honestly.
I've been there when his heart go broken for the first time, and the second time too, I've been there when he fought with his friends or when pressure from the band and management came, I've been there through anything, and I don't get it,
Am I not worth enough?
We arrived at the airport and it was time to say goodbye.
"Bye, Jas! I'm sure that you'll have fun! Don't forget to call and to communicate with the 'small people' while you're hanging out with Australia's #1 band.." She laughed and hugged me tight.
"Don't worry about me, it'll be fine, I guess." I said laughing. "I'll miss you too, Ashleigh." I said returning the hug.
