Chapter 5: Shocking Incident pt.2

*Saphira's POV*

The two mysterious people started scattering my things. I wanted to stop them, I can't just watch this, I need to do something. I went to one of the intruders and tried to stop them. I pulled its arm but my hands went through, like touching the wind. They were just illusions. I took a step back and bump Cydric. He held my shoulder and looked at me.

"We can't touch them, they're just illusions" He said seriously.

His serious..wow that's the first time

I faced Coleen and observed how she controls everything. Then, I noticed Andrew staring at me. He immediately looked away when I caught his eyes, avoiding eye contact with me.

He has been acting a little weird though. Ever since Cydric introduced him to me. I always seem to meet him anywhere I go, down the street where I first saw him, the hallway and the library.

Well, he doesn't really look like a guy that would hurt you.

To be honest, Andrew is actually kinda cute. A little silent and mysterious but still cute, too bad he's already taken. Andrea sure is lucky.

Cydric was shaking my shoulders, trying to get my attention.

"Hey look" He whispered.

My eyes went back to the intruders.

"Hey! Remember we are just searching for a possible source of her DNA. That's what He wanted,right?" One of the intruders scolded the other, this one seems to be female.

"what's with the DNA search?" The other one asked, this one had a manly voice.

"Weren't you listening?? He said its for the confirmation" The female intruder said angrily.

"You're so stupid! You know what, I have had enough of this! Let's just go before somebody finds out we're here" she said again.

I watch them as they stood in front of the portal. The guy went into the portal without even waiting for the other. And when the girl was about to get in the portal, the strong winds coming from the portal blew her hood off, showing her looks. And I saw a braided long hair, it was reddish brown like mine but hers has a darker shade. It looked back and I saw her, I saw what she looked like, she looked very familiar though.

Wait...she really looks like someone..
Oh my lord...She's me???

It went straight in the portal. And just like that, the portal shrinked and disappeared. It was a SHE! AND SHE WAS ME! I saw her face, it was my face!

What was that thing?

Why did she come here?

What was she doing in my room?

The time controlling was ended, Coleen gestured her hand to the right and the time went back to the present. She unlock her arm position and everything went back to normal.

"Ok, we have a suspect" The deity said.

"She looked exactly like Saph!" Coleen said.

"I swear that wasn't me"Saphira stated.

"We know it wasn't" deity said.

"So they have like shapeshifting powers or something"Cydric said.

"That may be a possibility"Minerva(deity) said.

"But all of the shapeshifter have been killed, right?" Andrew said.

"Yah, all of them were slaughtered one by one by the Luvi-" said Coleen.

She stopped when Minerva silenced her.

Minerva had a serious expression in her face as she stood silent for a second before speaking again.

"Alright, all of you must head to your dorms. Its almost sunset. Fix your things and get ready for bed" Minerva commanded.

Cydric went out and left, Andrew went out after Cydric.

Minerva was standing near the door, looking around the room filled with mess.

"I guess you will be staying in one of the vacant dorms for a while, this place looks dreadful" she said.

"But Ms. Lesnicki, our things" Coleen said.

"Don't worry, you'll move back in here tomorrow morning. By that time, this placed will look untouched" she said.

"Now go on, give yourselves a break" she commanded.

I followed Coleen as she went out the dorm. She continued walking, silently, heading to the vacant dorms.

"Do you guys usually sleep this early" I asked.

"Well, at this hour there are no classes to attend to. That's why we just hangout in our dorms" Coleen answered.

"Ahh ok, where is our dorm located?"

"The dorm right next to Andrew's" She said, still walking.

"Why can't we just stay at Andrew's?"

"Nah, the last time I saw a guy and a girl in the same dorm, they ended up as parents" Coleen stated seriously as we arrive in front of a single-wooden door.

"What? Eww That's gross" I said.

"Haha just kidding. I was just messing with ya, haha" she laughed.

She opened the door, releasing a creek. We entered the dorm and just like the other dorms, it looked like our dorm.

Bunk beds on the left side, cabinet on the right corner, a window in front of the door, the bathroom on the right side. And all the other furnitures.

Coleen went to the bed and layed down.

"Aaah...Finally" she said as she let out a sigh.

I closed the door and sat on the bed, beside Coleen.

"Saph..Can you sleep on the top bed? I'm to tired to stand up" Coleen said with her eyes closed.

"Sure"

I climbed up the ladder and layed down on the top bed. I looked at the clock and just watched it tick while I lay on the bed silently.

Coleen is asleep and its already 11:46pm in the evening.

I can't sleep after what happened earlier. I didn't get anything about the intruders, the mess, and especially about the lady who looked exactly like me.

This is messed up

I mean, I just got here, how could I be involved in such trouble or problem?

Everyone's asleep right now, especially at this hour, its already 11:53pm. I need sleep but, I really just can't let my mind cool off and relax after what happened.

I'm overthinking this.

I need a break.

I turned and faced the ceiling. I closed my eyes and forced my self to sleep. I just breathe silently, trying to calm my mind and rest.

Inhale..exhale..inhale...exhale.......

Then, I slept.
