Chapter 4: Shocking Incident

*Andrew's POV*

I was strolling in the library, going shelf to shelf, trying to find something good to read.

What to read...what to read...what to read?

I went in to the last shelf and saw Saphira about to fall, I hurriedly went to her and catch her before she could even hit the ground.

Phew...

I held her tight like a pillow in the night. For a moment there, I actually felt so comfortable.

I watched her slowly open her eyes, and started melting, her eyes are more beautiful than the cosmos even with a single color.

We stared at each other, I can't help but observe every detail on her face, I notice that her hair has a little touch of brown on it. Then, her glossy lips caught my attention. As I was planning to plant my lips to hers, she interupted the moment.

"Uhm...thanks" She said, trying to break free of my hold.

I smiled at her trying not to make the situation awkward.

"Which one where you trying to get"
I asked politely.

"That one" she said as she point out to the book on the upper shelf.

I slowly grabbed it to avoid any accidents and gave it to her, she gave me a slight smile and blushed.

"What a gentleman"

I heard her thoughts and my heart pound against my chest. My thoughts are going crazy.

"Uhm...Saphira...do you wanna take uhm a walk with me outside?" I asked while trying to avoid the confuse look she is giving to me.

"Right now?" She asked me back.

"Later, probably, 5:15pm before dawn" I said.

"Sure" she said without hesitation.

My blush became visible on my cheek, I can feel my body shaking in excitement.

"Great! I'll see you then" I said excitedly as I walk away and try to escape the scenery before things get awkward again.

She gave me a last smile before turn away to walk back to her table.

As I lost sight of her, I threw my fist in the air, acting like a total weirdo.

"YES!" I shouted out loud.

Then, I saw Andrea staring at me while holding the book that she was reading.

"Drew, quiet" she angrily whispered.

"Oh sorry" I mouthed and went to the librarian and borrow the book I'm holding.

I took the book right after signing the paper for borrowing it and left the place. I became cheerful as I walk the halls while dancing little steps, everybody looked at me and giggled, I can hear their thoughts and gossip about me but didn't mind it, after all, I got myself a date. After a few moments of walking weirdly in the halls, Cydric appeared beside me. He put his arm around my neck and copied my weird walk, forcing me to stop.

"Hey Ands, what the hell were you doing? Hahaha" He said, teasing me.

I ignored him.

He is so annoying all the time.

"Why did you stop? You were hilarious" He said while pouting.

"You were laughing at me" I complained.

"So?" He asked.

"And its very tiring that's all" I said.

He removed his arm from my neck and chuckled. He used his super speed, he went in our dorm first. Because of his speed, apers flew in the air. He opened the door and layed down on his bed being messy and all.

I quickly went after him and went in the room. When I got there, there were papers everywhere. I started picking up the pieces of paper and fixed all the mess.

"Could you watch where you're going? I just cleaned this room yesterday" I complained.

"Sorry, guess I'm just too fast to check" He said while playing video games.

I sat down on a table and read my book there.

I read all the tips I need to know so that I could impress Saphira during our conversation, don't know why I always feel concious about myself everytime I'm with her, like how I wear this, how I look, how I act.

I have a good feeling that this means something good.

I finished the book in just 30 minutes of reading it.

I can easily recall all the memories in my mind since mind powers are my abilities, so no need for studying.

"Hey dude! Are you gonna come with me" Cydric asked.

I looked at him, confused.

"Ms. Lesnicki said we should go to Saphira's dorm, she said its an emergency." He said seriously.

Saphira's dorm?! Did anything happen to her??

"What?? Then let's go" Standing up and heading towards the door.

I opened the door and rushed outside.

Cydric speeds up and arrives first at Saphira's dorm.

I sprinted all the way to saphira's dorm and made it there seconds later.

Ms. Lesnicki/deity was standing right next to Cydric near the opened door of Saphira's dorm.

I went near them and saw a whole mess all over the dorm, like it has been hit by a tornado or something else. Book pages scattered everywhere, broken glass, messy things, all of them are scattered on the floor. I can see Saphira right next to Coleen. They look shocked.

I quickly went to Saphira to check on her.

"Saph, what happened?" I asked, worriedly.

"I don't know, I just arrived here" She said.

"Coleen, come here" Minerva/Ms. Lesnicki interupted.

Coleen went to Minerva right away.

"Let us see what happened" Minerva commanded.

"You mean I am going to use my powers?" Coleen asked.

"Precisely" Minerva replied.

She faced the disastrous area, she lifted her arm up to her chest and locked her arm position like she activated something. She then slowly gesture her hand to the left, then, the everything started to rewind, the book pages were attaching to the book, the scattered things were arranged again, everything went back to normal. Suddenly, she stopped gesture her hand and she pulled down her arm. The rewind stopped and everything started to play like we where watching a movie or something but we were at the exact scenery.

The room was nice and quiet, no one was in the room, Saph and Coleen was in the library. Then, there was a tiny spark in the middle of the room, the spark grew bigger and bigger as it became a portal the other side was windy and dark. We can hear rusling of trees and birds making noises. Two people wearing red cloaks. Went in the portal, they began scattering things like they were searching for something.
