The next day my mom and I decided to visit University of Washington Seattle, which was my dream school. I had a fairly high chance of getting accepted but I couldn't help being nervous. Right as we were leaving my phone vibrated in my pocket; it was a message from Jordan.
"Hey Emily what are you up to today? I wanted to know if you'd like to come over."
Sadly my mom and I were going to be busy all day, mostly doing touristy things like seeing the Space Needle.
"I would love to but my mom and I are doing school related and tourist things today :("
It broke my heart to turn Jordan down because going to his apartment would be amazing. I would probably break down crying when I saw his chair in person, it'd just be overwhelming.
"Oh that's okay you can come over tomorrow, I'll pick you up at 1 by your hotel."
"yeah sure sounds like a plan :D"
Wow I could not believe I was seeing Jordan's apartment in person. I can assure you today would be a day of preparing myself emotionally.
We arrived at the campus and had a personal tour for about three hours total. It was gorgeous and the main field was lined with cherry blossom trees. I was hardly paying attention to our guide and the next thing I knew we were sitting at a desk with the man in charge of admissions.
"So Emily I really think you have some potential and I wanted you to know that we would love to have you hear next fall. You still have to apply like everyone else but you are guaranteed to get accepted. Congratulations."
My jaw dropped as I realized I was going to enroll to my dream school, live in my favorite city, and probably become closer with Jordan. My mom and I thanked him for the opportunity and went on our way to our tourist adventures.
I couldn't stop thinking about seeing Jordan tomorrow and potentially becoming great friends with him in the future. I decided to save the surprise that I was attending college in Seattle for tomorrow even though I could hardly wait to tell him.
~The next day, 1pm~
Jordan must've walked to my hotel because he was just standing on the sidewalk when I walked outside to meet him. He was wearing a red and black sweater with black jeans that fit him tightly. He looked so overwhelmingly attractive.
"Hiya Emily! How was being a tourist haha?"
Every time he talked I got butterflies. Hearing that voice in person after months of only hearing it in videos was amazing.
"Hey Jordan, it was actually pretty fun! Seattle is even nicer than I pictured it."
"Glad you like it! Okay let's go, my apartment is about seven blocks away."
We started walking and making conversation about twitter and everyone reacting to his face reveal in such a positive way. He seemed so happy and relived to move past it and no longer have to hide anything. When we arrived at his apartment building my heart started beating faster and I was getting more anxious every time the elevator beeped past another floor. While I was freaking out on the inside Jordan was completely fine, acting like it was no big deal for a fan to be going to his apartment.
He opened the door to reveal his adorable little apartment that I had seen in his apartment tour vlog. I heard a meow from around the corner and Jordan's cat Sam came running to the door.
"Hey buddy" Jordan said as he lifted Sam off the ground. "Emily I'd like you to meet Sam, the cat that I've posted at least a hundred pictures of on twitter and Instagram."
I don't know why but I was extremely nervous at this point even though he was trying so hard to make me feel comfortable. I reached out my hand and started petting Sam. He purred softly as my hand brushed across him. Without realizing it, Jordan and I's hands momentarily brushed against each other. It was an awkward interaction but he just smiled back at me. He dropped Sam back onto the ground and we started walking down the hallway. He opened a door in the middle of the hallway that led to his bedroom.
The first thing I noticed when he opened the door was his chair, his ever so popular black and white chair that he records all of his videos in. He laughed as I just stared at it in awe.
"You can sit in it if you'd like. Ya know if you're into that hahaha"
I gave him a playful slap on the arm because I knew me being in a daze just boosted his self esteem.
"Shut up Jordan! Ugh I hate you but yes I would love to sit in it don't judge me."
I walked up to the chair and sat down in it. It was really comfortable and smelled like Jordan, which was a plus. I faced his desk where his monitor, webcam, and mic sat. Jordan walked over toward me and said,
"Here scoot over."
I did as he said and he squeezed into the chair with me. Our hips were touching and I just stared at him smiling and trying to take it all in.
"Do you wanna play some minecraft?" Jordan asked.
"Well to be honest I've never actually played it before. My mom never bought it for me so I just watch videos."
He stared at me like I had offended him in some way.
"WHAT HOW oh my god we have to play it. I'll show you how don't worry."
He pulled up the cube server on minecraft because he reassured me that no one would try to kill me there. When he joined both parker and H were online. On the inside I was freaking out and I'm sure Jordan knew it too. He pushed the mouse and key board toward me so I could take over the controls. He told me how to move first so I walked around spawn. I reached the White House and heard an arrow fly by. I turned around only to see H running at me with his sword.
"AH JORDAN HELP!"
Jordan leaned against me laughing at how terrible I was at minecraft while H killed Jordan's player.
"JORDAN STOP LAUGHING AT ME YOU SAID YOU WOULD HELP ME!"
With two hearts remaining, Jordan put his hand on top of mine on the mouse and grabbed my other hand placing it on the proper keys. His hands were rather large and very soft. My heart started racing and my whole body was tingling. Something about Jordan was just so comforting and reassuring. After a minute of his hands resting on mine, H caught up to us and managed to kill us.
Jordan typed "gg im trying to teach my friend how to play mc dood"
H replied "ts? lets record I could use some fresh commentary"
