ch.4 meeting the family part 2

the next day...

  demis pov

    we had just arrived at the airport on the way to Leah's house. I was so excited I'm going meet my lostt baby sister I've missed so many years of her life I'm not going to miss anymore.

  finally we arrived at the two story house I'm nervous of how she might react towards us. my mom rang the doorbell twice until the door swung open revealing a small little girl who I'm guessing was Leah cuz of the shock written all over her face

  Leah's POV

   I was playing truth or dare with case since she insisted that she'd stay the night. while we were playing the door bell rang. obviously since my mom was in the kitchen cooking pasta I went to open the door.

  when I swung the door open I couldn't believe my eyes. there stood the delagarza and lovato family I was flabbergasted

mind if we come in  demi said

sure why not still completely I said shocked that my idol was in my house

  breaking the icy cold silence I decided to speak up, not be rude but what are you guys doing here? I asked

  well for starters I thought your mom told you we were coming today. Dallas said

that's when it all came back to me my family coming over today and I completely forgot. all I said was and I didn't mean to it just came out

why all of a sudden u come back to me? why did u leave me? when you obviously have 3 other wonderful daughters by your side my adoptive mom just standing there awkwardly I mean I wouldn't blame her. with that I ran upstairs to my room crying with Casey behind me comforting me.

the first one to come up would be demi asking if she could speak to me alone. case go downstairs while I talk to demi plz. she nodded and left the room.

  look I understand what you're going through and I understand you may need time but I'm here for you and I want to get to get to know you better she said with a sincere tone

look dem I understand where you're coming from but you cant expect me to just run up to you're arms and be like omg you're my real family it takes u know. considering that I know everything about u guys ill try to make an effort to get to know my real family. if you want just me and you can hang out tomorrow. so you can get to know me better then Dallas, Maddie, and then dianna deal.

she pushed me into a bone crushing hug I couldn't help but hug back. deal she said with a big smile on her face. can we cuddle I ask she just wrapped her arms around me and eventually we both fell asleep.

I knew then my life was going to change for good.
