That evening, Lilly went home with a mind so filled with rage, if she tensed any harder, I believe her eyes would've popped from their sockets. She wanted to see pain in someone elses eyes because of her.

However, it wasn't actually Lilly who pained for those merciful eyes to look deep into her, but the demon that had grown exponentially since the fire. It was heavily in control of her mind, a burning fire sent from hell.

Lilly's demon did not replace her soul though, only sat upon it like a queen. She still had her perfectly innocent conscience within. The enormity of the creature had buried her soul in a grave too deep for it to escape and save Lilly, but not deep enough to have no effect on her mind. It was still there. The little bit of herself Lilly had still was what stopped her from committing mass genocide, but instead compromised to something a little less ferocious.

Sat in her bedroom (which consisted of a plain bed, a few bare shelves and a dusty, oak wardrobe) and let the two parts of her new self speak. "Hidden Lilly" knew the consequences and the morality of murder. "Demon Lilly" begged for blood and guts to be poured over her.

It went on for a while, the good and outrageous parts of Lilly conflicting on how to be satisfied without the dire consequences. The second they came to a decision, it hit her gut hard like the demon was flipping joyfully in its place. She grabbed her notebook and scribbled down her idea:

"I need blood. Need it. Can't kill people. Won't kill them. Animals have blood too. Most land animals around are loved. Cats and dogs. No. Too obvious when missing. Birds. No one misses birds. I get blood. I get no suspicions. I get satisfaction. I get to kill a bird."

Lilly let out a small giggle at that last line. She was overjoyed that she had an idea of how to feel eyes of pain and agony stab into her own malicious, evil-filled eyes.

The next page of her notes was her plan. In short it said; go to forest, set trap, catch bird, kill it.

Now, her mind was devoted to fulfil that plan. The constant images of blood running down Lilly's hands and the small screech the bird would let out as she split open its chest plagued her thoughts all night long. It was all she thought about. She could hardly speak she was so focused on it.

Finally, after all the years of repressing feelings Lilly never knew she had, they had shown their true colours, formed a work of art.

In Lilly's eyes, she was becoming a better person. A stronger girl. The changes to her over the last few days had finally taken full form. And Lilly had no intention of turning back.
