You walk through the gardens humming to yourself. Suddenly someone grabs you from behind and covers your eyes with their hands. You squeal with shock.

"Guess who." A familiar voice says.

"Legolas!" You laugh. He lets you go and you twirl around to face him. He is holding a bouquet of roses, your favourite.

"For my beautiful lover." He says, handing you the gorgeous flowers. You smile and blush, taking them.

"Follow me." Legolas grasps your hand and pulls you through the bushes. He lets go when you reach a small clearing enclosed by willow trees. In the centre, laid out, is a blanket, some food, and a few pillows. You gasp.

"Did you do this for me?" You ask, astonished, it looks beautiful.

"Yeah, but with the help of Tauriel." Legolas confesses.

"That's so sweet!" You exclaim.

Legolas scoops you up in his strong arms and carries you to the blanket, where he then carefully puts you down. He pours a glass of wine for you and then himself. All your favourite food is laid out on the blanket. Chocolate dipped fruit, mini sandwiches, cakes and more.

You and Legolas feast on the lovely food until you are both full, then you clear off the blanket. By this time the sun has begun to set and the stars are about to shine. Legolas lies down and you do the same. You lie your head on his chest and he wraps his arm around you.

As the sun sets you talk about silly things and cuddle. You have never felt so warm and happy in your life. Here in Legolas' arms it's perfect. You prop yourself up on your elbows and press your lips against his.

"I love you." He whispers.

"I love you too." You reply. For the rest of the night you lie, together on that blanket in each other's arms, counting stars.
