Flowerstar confronted the black tom. She jumped on him with his belly up. She scratched his face confusing him. She just then a tom pounced on her and slit her throat.
"Forestclan, retreat!" Maple called as she spotted her leader's body. All of the clan cats ran back carrying Flowerstar's body. Droplet told Sunkit and Mintykit reassuring them. Flowerstar got up weakly.
"How are they?" The gray she-cat asked softly as Deerpetal lead her to the medicine den.
"Well behaved." The medicine cat replied.
Wishkit limbed to her mother and asked with a worried look," Is Flowerstar going to be okay?"
"Of course. She's got 8 more lives. Now it's time for bed." Maple replied.
