So if you guys couldn't tell I've been super busy. I haven't updated in a few months because of that and I'm going to try to get back on a regular updating schedule if I can. Don't hate me, I sowwy.

Jake's P.O.V

"Is this a date?" Alice asked playfully.

"Maybe, it could just be two friends going to a movie and dinner."

"I prefer the term date."

"Whatever."

I took Alice's hand and led her into the nearly full theater. I guess "BRAINS!!!!" The movie was a big hit. It was some zombie chick flick about a girl falling for a zombie and making demon babies. I hear in the sequel the best friend falls for the baby. Weird stuff.

"I can't wait to see the movie."

"I'm not that excited."

Alice frowned, "why not?"

"Zombies aren't really my thing."

"Oh, way to be a party popper Jake."

"Sorry." I chuckled.

"Not forgiven." She responded back with a smile and then cuddled into my chest. The movie turned out to be pretty good. Besides the zombie looking way to handsome to be dead and the girl your average blonde cheerleader, the plot was quite juicy.

The movie ended and I hadn't noticed I dozed off until Alice slapped my shoulder.

"What'd I miss?"

"Only the most important part, the kiss scene."

I made a gagging noise and joined the line to get out.

"The kiss scene? Means I didn't miss a thing."

"It was so romantic Jake. He had to choose his family or her."

"I never took you for the romance type."

"Me neither. Tell anyone and I'll bite a hole through your throat."

I held my hands up in surrender and walked into the crowed corridor.

"Anyways, the guy was way to perfect to be dead."

"Do you have a problem with the way dead people look?"

Alice blinked her eyes and I got the hint. She was dead.

"Of course not my love."

Dinner passed by quickly with some brief talk of vampires and werewolves. The whole mortal enemies thing didn't really click in my mind. How could someone hate Alice? She was perfect and I didn't see how anyone could have her on a kill list.

"I enjoyed my night." I whispered to Alice at her door.

"Me too. We'll have to do it again." She kissed my lips and her sweet taste and scent lingered for a few minutes. She let go and disappeared into the house.

"I love you Alice." I whispered when I knew she couldn't hear me. I knew for a fact Alice was the one for me and I could now finally say I love her.
