Chapter 4

"So what was going on over there?" Bella whispers to me as we move some boxes around. 

"Nothing. Just saying I shouldn't talk back to the Lt That's it." 

"Ah well he isn't wrong. We are just low qualified soldiers." 

"Why?" 

"Because we all suck at magic and can't control them... Or we failed the written portion of the test." Masaki butts in. 

"So do you?" I ask them both and they shrug. 

"Some of us guys don't really think we suck but we just aren't that smart.." 

"Nahir is really good in both but he just wanted to stay down low." Bella says. 

"I see and why?" 

"Something about his family saying he was worthless and they disowned him for things. He doesn't really talk about it." Bella shrugs and I stare over to Nahir and he is just quietly talking to Miyuki. 

"Hi.." I turn to see these preppy girls in navy blue uniforms. 

"What are you doing here Marie?" Bella asks confused. 

"We are here to talk to her." They point to me and I raise a brow. 

"Thanks but um I'm not looking for the welcome committee to shine light in my hell hole." I smile and walk off and see people working on robots. 

"Hey give us a chance will you?" I turn and stare at the group. 

"Go ahead." I look around and see Ezera staring at us, gosh he's everywhere.

"I'm Marie Tikki the academy's president, this is my assistant president Isabel Mori. And the captain of the behavior counsel Luna Singe." 

"Huh they have students running this place?" I snort. 

"You should talk to her with more respect, she is your president." Luna states.

"Sorry but what are you doing here talking to a low class student?" I cut to the chase.

"We saw you today." Isabel crosses her arms. 

"And?" 

"You don't seem to fit in with the low class students. Why are you here?" Luna asks. 

"Well from what I learned apparently I'm not that smart and not that fast with magic.." I shrug. 

"Well you built that gun in less than 5 minutes. No normal low class student or even a high class student does. " Marie states. 

"Okay what do you guys want?" I'm starting to get frustrated.

"We want you to join the committee." 

"What?" I laugh. 

"Yes we would like you to take control and be part of the crime committee." Are they for reals?

"What's the crime committee?" I ask.

"Well that's runned by Luna but you would be like her assistant and you would skip your last period and walk around taking care of the school and report any shady things." 

"That's it? So this is like some hall monitor shit?" 

"Excuse me?" They gasp at my language. 

"Well all you do is walk around and snitch on people and break up fights.. Look I'm not the girl for you and I am most definitely not some snitch and also I'm a low class student so go get some high rank snob okay. Thank you." I turn around and walk away.
