Chapter 7

Ezera and I are walking to school this morning and I forgot to ask him last night!

"Hey Ezera?" I stop and he looks at me.

"Yea?"

"I was wondering if would be my assistant and the commander of the discipline committee?" 

"Like the principal assistant?" 

"Yea." 

"No.." He starts walking away. 

"Why not?" I stop him. 

"Because I'm not meant for that. Why don't you ask one of the girls?" He starts walking slowly. 

"Because I trust you more." I admit and he stops and his eyes are bright and happy.

"Really?" 

"Yea, well I mean you are here to protect me so I mean you aren't going to do anything bad." I shrug. 

"Oh, yea of course but I can't do it, ask Tikal or maybe bella." 

"No. Not Bella I feel like it would get to her head." I twist my lips side to side and Ezera chuckles, "But can you at least run the discipline committee?"  

"Okay, fine I can do that one." He gives in and I jump on him and hug him. 

"THANK YOU!" I shout laughing and he laughs too and he sets me down and we walk into the school and go to class and the whole day I've been trying to figure out who can be my assistant principal.  

"Hey Ms.Akio." I turn to see Luna and Isabel and Marie walking to me as I walk to lunch. 

"Yes?" 

"We have a meeting with the Colonel today after school and you have to bring everyone who is going to be part of your committee." Marie explains and I nod. 

"Got it, in his office?" 

"No it's going to be in our headquarters which soon enough will be yours as well and we can give you and your people a tour." Luna says and I look at her. 

"Okay, right after school. I got it. Thank you ladies." I salute to them and they salute back and march off to their table and I walk over to the outside cafe and see the big group of friends laughing and fighting like always.

"Hey." I sit down. 

"Hey where were you missie the waitress already took our order." Masaki says. 

"It's okay I'm not that hungry but we all have a meeting to see the Colonel today after school so we can get our negotiation done and final and maybe get the rundown of how everything is going to work." 

"Sounds pretty good." Tikal says and I just watch Miyuki and Nahir closely and I will get to the bottom of this because it just can't be the whole sibling thing they always seem so closed in and mysterious and sad.. 

But wait I bet they probably changed their whole names too because anyone can easily look them up easily.. SHERRY! Why didn't I think about this earlier I can literally get background checks on everyone! I have to get myself a better apartment soon! And maybe a mini portal. 

"Hello? Maiya! MAIYA!" I look up and see everyone around me. 

"What were you thinking about?" Miyuki asks me and I see I was still staring at Nahir. 

"I was thinking about changing my room around and got lost in how to do that..Sorry for staring at you Nahir bet it was pretty creepy." I give him an apologetic smile.

"It was but I mean it happens a lot." Nahir chuckles. 

"Weirdo.." Connor laughs. 

"Come one time for the field and cleaning thanks to you.." Lucas whines and I just get up quietly and walk behind them ignoring them. I need money but how can I get some without Ezera and my parents finding out? I could get a job but with my school and being president I wouldn't be able to handle everything. Maybe if I contact my mother.
