CHAPTER FIVE

When I reached home I called Ash and told her everything. She was so disappointed in him being a jerk. I have had plenty of crushes on cute boys in school. Anyway I always lose my crushes in a few weeks. The longest I had a crush was four months and it was on a celebrity, the Chris Pine otherwise my 'feelings' never lasted more than weeks. But I really believed I liked Gavin it was such a shame that he turned out to be a jerk

Later that evening after dinner, Casey asked me again if I had talked to Gavin yet. Since I didn't care about him anymore I thought why not just tell her so I did. I told her about the tutoring the jerk behavior of his though Casey did not believe that he was really a jerk so she insisted that he would still like her. Anyway who wouldn't, my sister was amazing, very bright, gorgeous, funny and anything and everything a guy looked for in a girl. Eric eavesdropped on our conversation and was worried about me and that idiot but I told him that it was nothing serious. He helped me calm down Aileen who was still angry that I came home late and obviously Herald took that as an opportunity to insult me. He didn't like me that much anyway so I couldn't give a shit about what he said I only worried about Aileen who took me in and cared for me as if I were her own.

At school I kept on tutoring Gavin Rogers but kept everything formal one time he tried to pull a joke and I just looked at him and forged a cough to overcome the laughter I was holding in. I even started using my car to school so that I would not have to go back home with him. Outside tutoring I would pretend like he doesn't exist. In the hallways I would avoid him and his friends. I would watch girls ran mad for him as he passed by them while I would want him out of my sight.

I caught him talking and laughing with my sister once that was the only time I made eye contact with him since.
That day during our tutoring session I asked him what he was doing with my sister and he said it was none of my business.
Later that week, Chelsea actually decides to come for a session and I talked more with her since she was not all flirting with Gavin. We laughed and talked she even gave me her contact and that of the salon she goes to.

After a month we did a test and due to my sessions with Gavin and Chelsea they actually got good grades for once. Luckily Gavin was removed from me due to his improvement but I was given his friend, Wes Anderson who was cute too and actually funny and not a jerk like Gavin. He told me Gavin is not a jerk but that could beggar belief.

" so how did you get that answer again?" Wes asked me. I explained patiently and though he understood slower than Gavin he was a better student.
