Eric and I arrive at Lilla Town, more of a city. A woman with pink hair runs to the jeep.
"Is that the Eevee, Professor?" She asks, pointing to the Eevee in my arms.
"Yes, Nurse Joy." Eric replies.
"Is this yours?" Nurse Joy asks. She is obviously concerned about the Eevee.
"No, it's wild." I reply.
"No, that's a trainer's. It looks like it was scratched by a highly trained Lycanrock. Must have been caught just as a training dummy." Nurse Joy tells me.
"Why would someone do such a thing?" I ask.
"Is that my useless Eevee?" A voice says from near the Pokemon Center. It's a boy in the same outfit as that Team Steam grunt, but smokey.
"I'm Blazer. That dumb thing wouldn't evolve, so I just used it to train my Rockruff, which DID evolve." he says.
"Eevee evolves into Flareon by a stone." I tell him.
"Well if you know so much about Eevee, then how about you train it?" Blazer says.
"Then I will." I say. Blazer shoves a Pokeball in my face.
"Take it. It's useless to me." Blazer says, then walks away.
"Come back, Eevee." I say. The Eevee goes into the Pokeball.
"Heal it please, Nurse Joy." I beg.
Nurse Joy takes the Pokeball and sends Eevee out onto a stretcher. "Chancey, I need a large bandage." They whisk my Eevee away to the Pokemon Center and I run after them.
"Will Eevee be okay?" I ask.
"Blazer is a Team Steam admin. That Lycanrock that hurt this Eevee must have been very powerful. It'll be in the Pokemon Center for up to two days." Nurse Joy replies. I nod and thank her for taking care of my pokemon.
"How 'bout you stay at my lab overnight? I have a guest loft." Eric says.
"Sure." I reply.
