The day had come that Carlos dreaded; the day that the new four villain kids were arriving at Auradon. So, he planned on just staying in bed the whole day. Jay, however, obviously had different plans for Carlos.

"Get! Up! Car! Los!" Jay shouted for about the tenth time this morning, moving Carlos's blankets off of him.

"No! I'm.. sick... or something." Carlos lied, and yanked his blankets so that they'd be covering him again. He was very obviously not the best liar.

"Nice try." Jay scoffed and walked toward the end of Carlos' bed. "You don't seem sick to me. No fever, no vomiting, no coughing, or sneezing or sniffling."

"Pft. Uh. I do too have a fever." Carlos said, which resulted in Jay rolling his eyes and grabbing Carlos by the ankles. "DON'T YOU DARE TRY TO GET ME OUT OF THIS BED. I'M FAKE SICK."

"Ha! You admitted it. You're not really sick!" Jay said as he started to pull on Carlos' legs.

Carlos quickly grabbed onto the bedposts and held on tightly. "I'm not getting out of the bed! You can't make me!"

"Carlos, you can't just avoid Harry forever," Jay said with a sigh as he let go of Carlos' legs. "It would be better if you just face this situation now rather than later."

"I can too avoid him forever." Carlos sat up and crossed his arms.

"You can't. He's going to be in a few of your classes, and he's also going to be living in the room right beside ours." Jay said. "It's going to be literally impossible for you to avoid him, whether you like it or not."

"Fine." Carlos said. "But I'm not doing it today. I'm not going to face him today. Just tell everyone I'm sick and had to stay in bed."

Jay just glared at Carlos for a moment, with a stern look. "Carlos, seriously, I'm not going to let you be a baby about this. Now get the hell up and get dressed. We're going out there with everyone else to greet the new kids."

"I don't want to." Carlos whined.

"Stop being a baby. Get dressed." Jay said and Carlos sighed a little and got out of bed before getting dressed.

After he was finished getting dressed, Carlos followed Jay outside and over to the curb where a few other people were standing to greet the newcomers. Jay turned his head to look at Carlos and rolled his eyes a little bit when he saw the way Carlos was standing. "Perk up, kid." Jay said and Carlos scoffed a little.

"I'm only 1 year younger than you. There's no reason for you to call me 'kid'." Carlos argued, his arms still crossed. "And I'm fine like this."

"Everyone else is all cheery and happy. You're standing here with your arms crossed and your resting bitch face." Jay said. "At least pretend to be excited."

"No, I'm good." Carlos said and Jay sighed a little.

"Whatever. Suit yourself." Jay muttered.

As soon as the limo pulled up, Carlos started to panic, and hoped that Harry would not be the first to get out. In fact, he hoped Harry would be the last, and that he wouldn't see him. But, Harry did happen to be the first to get out of the limo. Carlos gasped a little and turned around before trying to push past some people to go back inside.

"Carlos?" A familiar voice said, seemingly ringing in Carlos' ear. He decided to pretend he didn't hear him, and continued walking toward the entrance of the school. "Carlos, I know you hear me."

With a sigh, Carlos turned back around and pushed past people again so that he'd be standing in front of him. "Hi, Harry." Carlos said, almost a little too quietly.
