Annabelle's P.O.V.
After the lady said that Peter Parker was waiting for Harry and he turn all pale and his mood change. "Tell him I'll be there in 5 minutes." Harry said and she nodded and as soon as she left Harry took a deep breath and began to talk. "Come with me" he said and I gave him a what the heck look. "Just come." He said and I nodded. Why does he want me to go with him? Why can't he go alone? I mean he's is mature I'm his assistant not his bodyguard.
We took the elevator and it was silent until I broke it. "Harry why do you want me to go with you? Who's Peter Parker?" I asked and he just rolled his eyes and didn't answer. Wow I thought to myself. When the elevator stopped we both got out and went the stairs which took forever.
Harry was in front of me and he was going down the stairs more faster. I was literally going downstairs like a turtle. Man I really needed to exercise. When Harry and I finally got done going downstairs there was a really good looking tall guy. Not that good looking as Harry but he's fine.
"Hey Harry" Peter said with a deep voice. "Peter. Why are you here?" Harry asked and I just stood there looking at Peter. "Look buddy I came here to say I'm sorry for your lost." Peter said and Harry didn't say anything he just stood there. "Really I am" Peter said again and again no answer from Harry not even a thanks. "Sorry about your dad" Peter said and started to leave but then Harry spoke up. "You got your braces off" he said and I gave him a what the fuck look. He wasn't talking about braces.
Peter stopped and turn around and smiled. "Now, there's nothing to distract from your unibrow" he said and Peter started laughing. "There it is. There it is. Do you still blow-dry your hair every morning?" Peter asked and I giggle inside. He blows dry his hair? "Umm, one of my man servants hold the hair dyer but I'm with the comb. Okay so at least I'm not completely helpless." He said and then laughs and Peter laughs too and then comes up and hugs him. Okay Im literally so confused. I thought Harry was mad at him or hated him and now there like best friends.
I stood there looking at them laughing at each other which was really awkward for me. "Umm" I said and they both looked at me. "Umm Peter this is my assistant Annabelle." Harry said and I smiled at Peter and gave him a handshake. "Nice to meet you." I said "Nice to meet you too." He said. "Well umm Annabelle I think you can go back to work. I don't need any help right plus I need to do some catching up with Peter." He said and I nodded and began to walk back. "Nice to meet you again." I heard Peter say. "Same here" I yelled back and left.
I went to the elevator cause I couldn't go up the stairs. "Wait wait" some girl said and a guy and the guy bump into me. "Sorry" he said "it's okay" I smiled. "Hi I'm Gwen" the blonde girl said "I'm Annabelle" I smiled "I'm Max" the guy with the nerdy glasses said. "Nice to meet you guys." I said. "What floor are you stopping?" He asked. "Floor 7" Gwen said. "Umm you guys go first. I on the last stop." I said and they gave me a weird look. "Wow your Harry's new assistant?" Gwen asked. "Yes I am" I said. "That's must be a big struggle" She said and I laugh. "Well I don't know I haven't started yet Harry went out with his friend Peter" I said and her eyes widen "Peter who?" She asked "umm Peter Parker do you know him?" I asked and she looked down. She seem sad. "Yes, he's my boyfrie- well ex boyfriend it's complicated." She said. "Really? I'm sorry." I said. "It's cool." She faked smiled. "Well looks like my stop is here nice meeting you." She said bye and left. It was awkward cause he seem like one of those persons who didn't have friends and I kinda felt bad so I decided to make a conversation with Max. I started looking down and saw he had a birthday card. It's his birthday? "Hey it's your birthday today?" I asked and he smiled. "Oh yes it is. My friend gave me this. I'm having a huge popular party tonight. Very big, there's gonna be celebrities but sorry the guest list is full." He said and I laugh. "Right of course" I said. The elevator stopped. "Well nice meeting you Max and Happy Birthday" I said and he smiled.
I went into Harry's office and started looking around. Wow it was very big. Harry's dad must of been a billionaire for life I thought to myself. I felt bad that Harry at such a young age has to run this company on his own which in my opinion would be very stressful. I took a deep breath and sat down on the floor since I didn't want to sit where Harry and his dad sits. I didn't know where my office is or anything and Harry is with Peter right now I didn't have nothing to do.
*2 hours later*
It was 5:32 pm and Harry hasn't still come. Ugh this guy is really getting me pissed off. I have 2 more hours left and I bet he isn't gonna show up. If he isn't gonna show up in 15 minutes I'm going to leave.
*10 minutes later*
I was literally bored to death. What the hell is taking Harry so long. That's so weird that I actually wanna work. Well that's why I'm here right?? Suddenly my thoughts got distracted by someone opening the door.
"Annabelle?" Harry said. I got up and smiled. "Harry" I said feeling like one of those idiots that are in those stupid romance movies. "I thought you left by now" he said and I gave him a weird look. Wow. Really he thought well no I didn't leave. "Um no. Usually I leave at 7:00 sometimes 6:30 and I was waiting for you so you can show me where I'm gonna work." I said and his smile turn into a smirk.
