Nightmares...Relentless
Visions...Constant
Fear...Growing
My nightmares have consisted of nothing but Neptune for the past few weeks. I used to think they were dreams...but they started getting more and more ominous over time. Sounds repeating in my head, my vision going blurry, stuff like that. I still had an objective. Day by day, I'd get closer to Arfoire but something always felt...off. It welled up inside over these long weeks, it felt like it was tearing me apart from the inside out; maybe because it was...I never knew. The good news is that I've almost reached the Basilicom. Arfoire will be waiting no doubt. I'll be ready. Nightfall came shortly and I found a decent place to sleep for the night, I'd need all the energy I could get.

-"---gear!" I heard a voice call.
I tried to open my eyes but couldn't, like they were being held in place.
-"Nepgear!" The same voice called, slightly more recognizable.
-"Wait...is that you?" I asked to the darkness.
Whatever was keeping my eyes closed went away and I opened them as soon as I could.
-"!!!" I screamed silently, the force now keeping my mouth closed instead of my eyes.
The problem was that now that my eyes were open, I couldn't close them! This horrific and nightmare of a vision was standing in front of my face. Just the image itself made me try to turn my head away, stop looking, do something other than helplessly stare at this sight of my sister with...bloodlust in her eyes. I wanted it to end, I wanted it to stop, I wanted it to never have happened.

Then I woke up. Tense, muscles sore, scared, alone, alert and frantically looking around in all directions. I took a few minutes and a lot of breaths to calm down, loosen up and let my muscles heal from a bad sleep. Today was the day after all...the day she falls, and I rise. I've waited three years for this moment and I'm not going to let anything get in my way...nothing. Now was the time for judgement to fall. I geared up with my bow, sword and exosuit that I stole from earlier. I was walking towards the Basilicom slowly, there's no rush. People around me, the kind that were normally pale and worried, got terrified when they laid eyes on me walking down the street. I saw her, standing above, on the Basilicom balcony. Staring back down at me with the eyes that were burned into my retinae.
