Your words are so frayed
A million words, but you don't tire
I wait for your impending doom
A contorted, conniving little liar
I know it seems so bizarre
An infatuation caught fire
Babe, you're the prettiest of the lot
An adventure once aspired
Your silly talks now annoy me
I do what you want, don't mean I like it
The sound of your voice ain't the sweetest
Your touch ain't no spark but I do with it
You're just pretty when I don't talk to you
You try with your hair pushed back, hey you
All the rules that they make, they all break 'em too
The prettiest of the lot, don't think we'd meet soon
Your company is atrocious
Staying away from all things obscure
Feeding on the starry light,
An addiction that takes you higher
A problem so dire
For an indomitable spitfire
So you're the prettiest of the lot?
Honey, do you really think I care?
Because all the petty talks now annoy me
I don't listen anymore, I despise it
The sound of your voice seems so desperate
Your touch is so bland, won't do with it
You're pretty when they don't talk to you
You try hard with your hair pushed back, hey you
All the rules that you break don't make you look cool
The prettiest of the lot,
A pretentious and ignorant fool
Poet's Note:
So I thought there was definitely something incomplete about Pretty boy and that is why I tried to write an ending to it. I hope you enjoyed it! I'll love to read your feedback. 😊
