Oh boy, this is going to be boring but please stay with me, I swear the original one is more painful to read. At least this will feature one gif and many lame jokes.

I swear that I will give you the most relatable and more common things in their guidelines. For the comprehensive guide, so read it yourself though it might take a while for you to understand their deep and philosophical terms of use.

1) Wattpad is completely FREE. Well... unless you have an issue with advertisement and would opt for the Premium version, and thus, in order to keep this business afloat, it earns revenue by providing advertisements. These advertisements, if clicked, links to some 3rd party websites that Wattpad doesn't own and that tries to win you over to purchase their product.

Thus if you make a purchase and realised you have just been scammed, you cannot blame Wattpad or anything. (The glories of being broke. You can't afford anything if you have nothing in the first place so no regrets.) So here's a friendly tip, DON'T CLICK ON ANY WEBSITES THAT SEEMS SUSPICIOUS.

[If you think that you have too much money and the temptation is too strong, put it in the bank or donate to charity.]

2) Did you know that you cannot create an account on Wattpad if you are a convicted sex offender or if you are below 13?

This is part of Wattpad's effort to keep the community safe and try to preserve the *slips into a very fatherly voice* purity and the virginity of a certain group of people's eyes. [But we can all agree that no one can stop 13 years olds from finding out the dark side of Wattpad. A tip, get some zamzam water or holy water if you go... well places.]

3) You are HIGHLY encouraged to not create more than 1 account.

This rule, I'm sure has been flouted many times here. I mean I understand if you create 2 accounts, the other as a backup but if you have like 5 accounts then...

If you use these accounts to farm for expecially VOTES for your story just to make it popular, it is considered an act of vote-trading and if you are found, a warning may be issued to you

If you use these accounts to farm for expecially VOTES for your story just to make it popular, it is considered an act of vote-trading and if you are found, a warning may be issued to you. Like seriously, at the end of the day, you will know that 50 of those votes that you have is fake and it doesn't make you feel happy.

4) No altering of the website. Otherwise we will wave bye bye, sayonara to you.

5) When you use Wattpad, you will only use it for your own personal use or for informational purposes of whatever purposes that Wattpad is here for.

6) Wattpad would not be held responsible if your eyes got scalded or burnt or read something so... wrong that scarred you in anyway. [Did I mention face distortion from cringing so badly and also fractured bones from falling from your chair due to excessive laughing?]

However, if it is so bad to the point that it includes things like: pornography, discriminatory or derogatory remarks or hate crimes etc., you can report the story.

But other things like if the opinion of the author and yours differ on a topic and you regurgitate your breakfast because of it, Wattpad ain't gonna clean up after you. XD [Oh dear heavens, I can't even crack proper jokes.]

7) Wattpad may ensure that your rights are fully asserted for. However, let's pretend to be kind and considerate human beings for once [Well who are we kidding here people], and admit that Wattpad admins and ambassadors can't possibly monitor everything at once. Sometimes, a lot of things may slip through their net and then it is UP to you, Wattpaders, to inform them. Wattpad clearly states that you are tasked to constantly monitor and ENFORCE your rights.

How you ask?

Refer to my plagiarism chapter and follow the same procedures until the part where they ask about the issue you are facing then select accordingly and follow up from there.

And there you go. Everything that seems important or seems most relevant here in 7 points. Pity I can't summarise comprehension passages for my school exams. Hope you find this useful!
