Everyone had already given up searching for them. The counselors had to notify their families. Marisa's dad didn't understand English so her sister, Aadhaya, had to translate.
"Hello sir." One of the counselors said.
"namaskaar mahoday." Aadhaya translated.
"meree betee kahaan hai." Marisa's dad said.
"He asks where is Marisa." Her sister translated.
"I'm so sorry sir..." Marisa's face changed to complete confusion.
"Mujhe maaph karana, mahoday." She translated to her dad.
"kis lie? meree betee kahaan hai?" He asked.
"He wonders what you're sorry for and asks where Marisa is." Aadhaya said.
"Sir, we can't find her." Marisa is then frozen with fear. She doesn't try to translate.
"kya? aadamee ne kya kaha?" What? What did he say?
"Unhonne kaha ki ve maarisa ko nahin dhoondh sakate..." He said that they can't find Marisa.
Marisa's father's face fell into an even bigger frown than before. He looked terrifying.
"kahaan bakavaas meree betee hai" Where the fuck is my daughter. "tum gandee kamabahkt navkaree hai! yah tumhaaree kambakht naukaree hai!
"What did he say?" The counselor asked, not sure if he wanted the answer.
"I'm not allowed to repeat."
