The Big Man

Kenzie's POV

     Johnny asked me to show him around Pittsburgh. So I did. First I took him to the mall and I got some new clothes. Next we stopped at a Chipotle. As we were eating I decided to start a conversation.

   "Johnny." I said in a questioning tone.
   "Yes Kenz." He said happily.
   "Why did you come to Pittsburgh?" I questioned.
   Johnny's expression went from happy to worried.
   "I can't tell you here." He said worriedly.
   "Why?" I asked.
   "You'll understand later. We need to get to a private place." He whispered.
   "Ok let's go to my favorite spot." I said with excitement.

~time skip~

      We finished launch and started to walk to my favorite spot. This spot is a secret only my family knows about this. Johnny will be the first one outside of my family to know about this. I think I'm falling for John. I really got to know him while showing him around. When I look back at John he's a couple of yards behind me.

Johnny's POV

When we walked out of the restaurant I seen him. The Big Man. Charles. He didn't see me. That's when I felt a hand intertwine with mine. Kenzie's hand. I looked at her and said "that's him"
"we need to get out of here. I'll explain later. Let's go!"I whispered so Charles couldn't here me.
"Ok let's go." She said untwining our hands.
I sighed and intertwined our hands again. I seen her blush out the corner of my eyes and so did I.

          When we arrived at the spot I explained everything. I mean every last detail. By the end about 3 tears had rolled down my cheek. I didn't want to break down in front of Kenzie. I like Kenzie I really got to know her. I looked at her and she had a tear rolling down her cheek. I wiped it off, but didn't move my hand from her cheek. Instead I decided to lean in, closing the space between us. She also started to lean in. When our lips touched it felt like fireworks. She began to pull away.

"I'm sorry I'm not your boyfriend, iwt (Johnny and Lauren's secret code for I wish though)" I stayed and mumbled the last part.

"It's fine what was the last part you said?" she questioned.

"Nothing." I stated flatly.

"You wanna go back home?" I questioned.

"Not yet she said, I want to see the stars." She said excitingly.

"Okay." I said.

I seen her shiver so I took of my hoodie and gave it to her. She took the hoodie and slipped it on while saying thank you. I shook my head in response. It was at that moment I knew I don't deserve her and me being with her is putting her in danger.

She lead against my shoulder so I wrapped my arms around her. She drifted off to sleep so I had to carry her home bridal style . She was light and it wasn't that far. Once we got home everyone was asleep since I told them we will be late because of star gazing. I took her to her room and laid her down while kissing her forehead. I covered her up and before o walked out she called my name softly.

"John" she said.

"Yes Kenz" I said.

"I'm scared. What if they come for you? I don't want to loose you." She said as a tear rolled down her cheek. I walked over to her and wiped it away.

"They won't find me and I don't want to loose you either. Want to come to my room and watch Netflix?" I questioned.

She shook her head in response. I picked her up bridal style as she nuzzled her head in my chest. I looked at her and smiled. Once we got settled down we watched Riverdale. Kenzie fell asleep with her head resting on my chest.

"Goodnight, Love you Mackz" I whisper.

Kenzie's POV

Johnny loves me!?!? Be for I fell asleep I heard him whisper. I love the nickname but I'll act like it bugs me.

Johnny's POV

I fell asleep just to be woke by the sound of glass braking...

** let me now how this is. What caused the glass to break. Not going to give a long message but here this is sorry it's kind of short and late.**
