Stranded In Love

Chapter 1:

Danielles POV:

I tapped my pencil on the desk impatiently, counting the few seconds of school left until summer break.

5...4...3...2...1...

*RING* *RING* *RING*

I quickly got up and ran out of the classroom, spotting my best friend Kate with her boyfriend Marcus.

"Hey", I said smiling.

"Hey Danielle", she said. Marcus scowled loudly and walked away, telling Kate to text him later. Marcus hated me. He hates everyone but Kate. Everyone thinks of him as the school Jerk, stating he can easily break a girls heart and get a new one the next day.

"So... what do you want to do this summer", Kate said, ignoring my death stares to him.

I shrugged.

Just then Margo came running towards us.

"Oh No", I said, trying to walk away.

Margo Reeds. The biggest nerd in school with big glasses and pants up way to high. He also has had the biggest crush on me, since the 5th grade. Last year on valentines day, he bought me a huge bouquet of red roses, saying "your my everything" on a pink card.

"H-hi  Danielle", he said stuttering.

"Hey Margo", I said sighing.

He then nervously handed me and Kate two tickets stating a reservation to the best hotel resort in ...Hawaii?

"Whoa",I said speechless.

"I won them at my cousins bachelorette party", he said smiling.

"Margo, you don't have to...", I said carefully.

"Don't worry, I don't have any one whose willing to go with me anyway", he said shrugging.

"But Hawaii ' s miles away...", Kate stated.

"Oh!", he said. He quickly pulled out another two tickets showing us a cruise ship to hawaii.

"Here these came with it", he said.

"Oh Margo how can I ever repay you",I said feeling bad.

He shrugged looking down but I knew exaclty what he wanted.

"Oh come here",I said smiling.

I gave him a hug and a peck om the cheek.

"W - well have fun", he said blushing. And with that he quickly turned around, walking away.

"Wow!", Kate started.

"Well...looks like we should start packing", I said shrugging.

"C'mon"

Me and Kate share an apartment and as we  grabbed our toiletries, I realized I don't have any appropriate clothes for hawaii.

As if Kate read my mind she huffed and grabbed her keys telling me to meet her in the car, where we will soon be at the mall trying on different bathing suits.
