Kim's POV
Cheryl and I were currently cuddled up enjoying a film this afternoon. With nothing to do but enjoy each other's company
"I love days like this" she said, I was spooning her from behind, with the couch sandwiching me into the middle
"Mhmm me too! although I don't get them all that much. Makes you appreciate them more" I said against her shoulder. Placing a delicate kiss against her exposed skin
"When was the last time you had a vacation?" she asked me turning around so she was facing me now, our fingers laced together
"10 years ago" I said after thinking about it for a few seconds
"10 years ago!?!" Cheryl asked with a gasp
"Yeah.. I remember that vacation like it was yesterday. My family decided to take their annual family vacation that year to Bora Bora, it was the longest flight of my life 22 hours to be exact. But when we got there all the moaning and groaning on the flight seemed to be forgotten as I took sight of the crystal blue turquoise water. It was breath taking.. I can still smell the sweet scent of the breeze that lingered through the air. Have you ever been there?" I asked tucking a loose stand of hair behind her ear
"You have a way with your words Kimba.. I felt like I was actually there smelling the air" she smiled
"But no I've never been there, I have always wanted to go tho" she added placing her arm around my waist loosely
"Force of habit.. sorry I sometimes don't know when to shut up. my ex-boy.. Anyways I guess that's why I enjoy writing so people won't get annoyed of my constant talking" I said blushing a little for almost slipping with my issues once again
"Well, I quite enjoy your talking.. your voice is like music to me ears. And who ever said otherwise is a right idiot if you ask us" she kissed me slowly. No heat, nothing rushed, just delicate and loving
"You know you're so different" I said looking her in the eye
"Different?" she pouted with a confused look on her face
"As in.. now don't take this the wrong way okay?" I said and she nodded in response
"When they first told me I was working for you I was a bit annoyed because I didn't want to work for someone snobby" she gasped swatting my hand playfully
"Babe I know that you're not snobby now, you're too cute to be snobby" I cooed pinching her cheeks
"Oh f*ck off Kimba! snobby my ass!" she huffed turning back around and I instantly wrapped my arms around her waist kissing her neck, she didn't respond she just kept her arms folded and looking straight at the screen ahead of us
"Aw babe don't be in a strop with me, I was only being honest with you" I said running my hand up and down her forearm
"And you didn't even let me finish" I added. She tuned around slowly looking at me with her eyebrows furrowed together, I kissed the crease in her forehead repeatedly until her face broke into a small smile
"That's better" I said kissing her on the lips before continuing
"What I was saying is that, I thought you were snobby before I met you. But you turned out to be the opposite.. you are by far the most caring, and down to earth person I have ever met.. and I have met a lot of people" I laughed towards the end
"I made the cut then aye?" she giggled
"You definitely made the cut. Did I make the cut?" I asked running my fingers through her soft hair
